don't get me wrong Channel 4 and now ITV are doing a decent job televising the Grand National even if they didn't want it
I love channel 4 racing
They made a mistake at the end of 2012 by removing the best parts of the old team and replacing them with a dull format.

Backed Balthazar King at 33-1 E/W and Pineau De Re at 25-1 E/W a month before the race. Felt pretty smug after this one...
The BBC were the national.
I hated the grand national on channel 4 absolutely terrible coverage especially royal ascot
Not as bad as the BBC camera-placing decisions in its last year covering the GN. Tae a look at the 2012 GN and Foxhunters.
