Keep in mind that some of these custom tracks are based off of their 3DS, MK8 & Tour versions. (I just wanted to include my favorite!) Also, make sure you check out every music artist featured in this video!! What's your favorite Recreation? Let me know!
Queremos que GBA Parque de la Riviera sea el próximo circuito del Booster Course Pass de Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 🙏🏻
I never realized how much I really like the Daisy that tells viewers to like the video and subscribe to your channel for more Mario kart content!
MKSC courses being remade in other games: Perfectly fine, but nothing too crazy
MKSC courses being remade in MK8: *Complete overhauls*
Lmao yeah ikr?
I have no problem with people praising MK8.
But come on, you can't just ignore Bowser Castle 1, Boo Lake, Sky Garden, Cheep Cheep Island, Sunset Wilds, Snow Land, Ribbon Road, Yoshi Desert and especially Broken Pier in MKWii.
MKSC courses being remade in Tour: removes half the corners
@@VancouverVelocityFan Isn't that only for the RMX variants, though?
@@GlitchanBlack no just look at Sky Garden 💀
Riverside Park looks like it needs to be in the Booster Course Pass. Quickly! Before Tour takes it and makes it bad!
i dislike you
Bro all circuits in deluxe are from tour
@@gamersebasyg7893 no they aren’t lmao
Tour isn’t going to take this, and also. The lighting isn’t that great yet, same with shadows
@@gamersebasyg7893 Not necessarily. Some of the non-Tour retro tracks may look like they were literally just ripped from Tour, but some of them have pretty slight if not significant changes from the Tour versions. Like how for some reason the cars in Coconut Mall don't move in 8 Deluxe while they do in Tour.
Mario Kart Super Circuit was my first game ever and my first introduction to the Mario series. Seeing some of these tracks come back as custom tracks and especially being brought back in for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, makes me really happy. Never forget the moments I had playing this game and if there’s one track that I want from this game to come back, it’s definitely Broken Pier.
Yeah for sure. Super Circuit was one of the first Mario Kart's i've ever played, so it has a special place in my heart.
Was the first one I played too
MK64 is the first game I've ever played aside from some arcade games
for me it was mk ds and every kid on my street would come to my house with their ds and that continued with mkwii where we used to take it in turns doing 4 player
ok ive just brought back tons of memories now wow
Tbh, I've never played super circuit, but the tracks are good ones. Mario Kart Wii was my first Mario Kart game I've ever played.
can't believe how well done broken pier is. so cool!!
Can't believe fan made tracks look more faithful to the original Mario Kart 8 art style than the booster course DLC
especially Riverside Park, it legit looks like an official track from the base game
Most of the booster courses are ripped straight out of Mario kart tour that’s why
Even after 4 months it’s still mostly true. Peach Gardens is as high quality as these custom tracks and I wish it was the same for all tracks.
I know right?
My honest opinion I that the booster pass has a better shade
Mario Kart 7 making a huge comeback for representation at the end there, I love this! The Lakeside View and Riverside Park ones were so creative and I'd love to play that Broken Pier
One thing that's pretty hit and miss about some of these remakes is that because the originals were flat, the remakes are flat as well. I love the remakes that took the tracks in a creative direction. Boo Lake, Riverside Park, and Lakeside Park are absolute winners here.
My good ol boy Super Circuit getting some love for once is nice to see.
I love it as well! Super Circuit has a special place in my heart for sure
Same, but I hate the controls lol
God I just can't emphasize enough how talented they are!
Lakeside Park is easily one of the best custom tracks I’ve ever seen.
These are great remakes and thanks for including me and Squire’s Cheep-Cheep Island!
I subscribed to you
it’s cool that they did the time change thingy with sunset wilds
Watching the footage of the Rainbow Road remake in MK7 makes me really want the track to appear in the Booster Course pack, looks like a lot of fun
Your wish came true.
I love it when Mario Kart retro tracks (both official and fanmade) take the same layout and setting of the original but completely reimagine everything else and add onto it, makes them WAY more fun and interesting to play
Wish Nintendo realized that back in DS, playing that one's SNES and GBA tracks (heck even a few of the N64 ones) feels boring now
But Man What The Hell Happend To The GCN Tracks On That Game? They Have Been Murdered
@@alface935 Aside from the removal of a few shortcuts and looking a bit worse due to the DS hardware most of them are still really fun, but they REALLY butchered Baby Park
They could've gone with any other course that wouldn't be effected too much with a change in gameplay yet chose the one where the gameplay made it fun in the first place
@@Xhepyxopila The Only One That I Feel Like No Getting Much Was Yoshi Circuit But Like WHY LUIGI CIRCUIT AND BABY PARK? Bowser Castle And Daisy Cruiser Would Be Much Better Choices
Banshee boardwalk needs justice. My favourite track in the series needs love.
YO! These tracks were amazing! Especially the MKWII, MK7, and MK8D tracks. The Sky Garden was clean!
3:52 The Anti Gravity just able for Mario Kart Wii? LOL
Oh man the future of the CTs looks so promising… ZPL’s Cheese Land, Slimeserver’s Boo Lake and Voidsource’s Riverside Park are just fantastic and I just can’t wait to see what other masterpieces they have in store for us, as well as other CT creators!
Riverside Park is actually a rare instance where I actually PREFER the custom track over the DLC track. The DLC track isn't bad by any means, it's brilliant, but I just love how the CT is just so much more nature-based with more animal and nature-related aspects, whether it be the many animal-esque enemies or the birds snd butterflies. Meanwhile in the DLC track the only standouts are the cave section, the waterfall and those walking Piranha Plants.
These all look so legit, I love thw MK8Dx ones. With just some tweaking here and there with visuals these could easily be confused with official tracks
That Riverside Park was god tier, easily my favourite. Would have preferred to hear Paulygon's remix though.
I love Paulygon's remix, but I didn't have time to ask for permission.
7:28
Seeing GBA Luigi Circuit brought me to tears, it’s perfect, the design, the music, THE RAIN, I can rest peacefully now knowing someone made a dream come true
when I look riverside park, most parts of it feels like Twilight Trail during the sunset. The track still looks amazing though
17:05 is my favorite I love the details and time the creator put into this track
This was the first Mario Kart game I ever owned. Very nostalgic!
Damn, a lot of people remade GBA Bowser's Castle 2!
Seriously though, love these track remakes, they look awesome! Especially with ones like Broken Pier and Riverside Park which reimagine the tracks in the same way 8 Deluxe's versions of Cheese Land and Ribbon Road did, or the outright remade versions of said Mario Kart 8 tracks in games like Mario Kart Wii.
Everyone who worked on them is so super talented, and I'm happy to see their work here!
I agree! A lot of work goes into these and not only that but they are super creative. Shoutout to the creators!
my favorite is Riverside Park...
I love the way Voidsource turned the jungle into a USA/Canadian forest...
Now I want it in Booster Pass...
the Cheep Cheep Island remake is dope af. i love the part where you can trick off the big fish as a shortcut
I really think that they should have given Sky Garden a night setting instead of the normal day one due to its almost identical appearance to Cloudtop Cruise.
(I'm talking about the original DLC track)
I love slimseservers boo lake! Talented creators here!
How, it's so bad
@@noahdalentoft8076 From your point of view.
@@GlitchanBlack Have you seen the track :skull:
@@noahdalentoft8076 Yes, I have. It's beautiful.
@@GlitchanBlack Have you been losing your vision lately?
God, Super Circuit tracks are so good
Some tracks were put in the DLC or in other versions of the game.
11:13 This track is really cool because it becomes night.
great video! I wish for the sake of understanding the layout a little better that you'd keep the minimap
Yeah man, the reason why I disable the hud in the first place is because for cinematic reasons and for some of the tracks not having minimaps (and look cleaner without them). That is true though o;
@@MarioPower55 I figured it was probably something like that. It seems like there's an argument for both, but I just wanted to share my input
Guess which GBA track is coming to MK8DX in a few days.
Riverside Park
Guess which gba track is coming to mkt in a few days.
The ones remade in the mario kart 8 style actually look better than the new DLC tracks nintendo just released.
Dude riverside park is legit!! The sunset wilds song is also incredible
Luigi Circuit is hilarious
I’d love to see riverside park in the booster course pass and I think this recreation of it is really good, but I have one issue with it. Riverside park is obviously supposed to be a jungle theme with jungle trees. This map uses redwood and pine trees which makes it feel like a redwood forest instead of a jungle like it should be
Your wish is granted!
This riverside park would be better than Nintendo's if it had the cave. Amazing job though! Also making the Sky Garden floor blue, keeping its shape and adding more plants made it way more refreshing!
The modded riverside park is much better than the bcp course because of the gameplay.
I can’t imagine how unique they all look in various games!
The first mario kart I played was mario kart DS, such great memories
The Rainbow Road one is godly, that right there is what the next game needs, it's perfection
GBA riverside park would be a BANGER on MK8 ... and it hasn't been recreated.. yet!
I love the blue road on sky garden.
That Sky Garden is so much better than what we got
Riverside Park looks soo sick!!
Very fun videos here
1:14 this flat Mario model reminds me of the SpongeBob and Obama on a plane meme
I subscribed~! :)
Lakeside Park is 10/10
Riverside park looks like gta lol
amazing !!!!!!
River side park looks amazing.
I love everything about zpl’s sky garden
Criticisms:
Shy Guy Beach: I like the idea of the houses at 1:18, but I feel like they should've been put in more visible locations as otherwise it'd go almost completely unseen. Plus I think there could be more "decoration" on the track (like the wrecked ship at 1:37), but that's also a complaint for most of the tracks that try to remain TOO faithful to the original. I also wonder if there was any way to recreate the cannonballs and pirate ship in the background? (Not that it's super important, but I feel like the pirate ship is one of- if not the only centerpiece this track has.)
Riverside Park: Okay first off holy hell that is an amazing-looking remake. Mad props to the creator (and also extra kudos for keeping all the coins in the same location too!) Only slight complaint is including the shortcut at 2:52, which does feel a tad extreme (and I'm aware that was also in the original game too, calm down).
Boo Lake: Not sure if it's just because of the kart/character combination, but I think maybe that ledge could be lowered/stretched out a bit because that looked like it was cut a bit close.
Sky Garden: Well I'm at least glad that they didn't cut out half the track, but I also think this is another case of being a bit too faithful to the original's design down to being completely flat. A bit of elevation here and there wouldn't hurt any because otherwise it does sort of make the track's design seem very bland.
Cheep-Cheep Island: I'll contradict what I said earlier by saying I understand that sometimes the GBA tracks should be downsized a bit, and this track is one example. (If you look at the original track design there was a whole lot of nothing for a large majority of it.) But... something about the way they designed this makes it seem really claustrophobic. Not sure if it's just the background elements or how everything is shrunk down, but I feel like there needs to be more open space, or just more space in general. I do like the direction they went with this, but I also think they dialed it a bit too far in that direction. (It could also just be an inherent problem with the track also.)
Sunset Wilds: Pretty empty-looking. I like the track otherwise.
Snow Land: I'm... on-and-off about having the main track be completely ice. On one hand it looks really cool (pardon the pun), but on the other I think it can be kinda distracting having the background and stage elements constantly reflected (and "moving" as you drive). It also makes the holes in the ice VERY hard to see until you're too close to them.
Yoshi Desert: I think you could've gone with a few less pyramids lol. (At the same time I'm wondering if having just a few less would make the track less visually appealing, since that's a consistent issue with desert tracks as a whole.) A slightly more concrete criticism I'd say is having the Yoshi Sphinx in a more visible location. I wouldn't say it's in a location that you barely see it, but you barely see enough of it I'd say (whereas in the original it was part of the background so you constantly saw it in its entirety).
Lakeside Park: I feel like you could have just a few more things in the mountain/rugged part of the track? (I'm assuming it's empty because it's right next to the volcano and the idea is that most of the stuff got burnt up/covered in soot.) Would also wonder if there was a way to recreate the fireballs that got launched out of the volcano? (Maybe retool the meteors from Rainbow Road?)
Broken Pier: The directional signs need to stand out more since they blend in with a lot of the side visuals a bit too well especially during the underwater section.
Boo lake and raimbow road looks incredible 🤩🤩🤩
Riverside Park looks like something Nintendo could ACTUALLY make, but even better as matter of fact.
Hopefully some of these courses will be in the Booster Course Pass 🤞🏾
There weren’t any custom tracks of #MarioKartSuperCircuit for #SuperMarioKart, #MarioKart64, #MarioKartTour and #MarioKartLiveHomeCircuit. Also, the ending of this video starts in 21:09.
Lakeside park is an unpredictable track.
I have been wondering how they would remake the track and this video has a pretty good idea
snow land looks so good
Riverside park is stunning!! Hire him Nintendo your current team isn't cutting it with those dlc courses....
2:06 nice
8:54 This Sky Garden is honestly way better than the one from Tour they put on the expansion pack...
in what way...?
@@Emu- Well, the layout is truthful to the original and the tiles are blue-ish instead of orange. Visually, it makes much more sense. Don't you agree?
@@GuiMasterofGames but it looks flat comparing from The Booster Pass one
Lakeside Park didn’t exactly have a lake. Weird and funny 😂.
Don't get me wrong I love sky garden original and I like the new one they made but they shouldn't have called it sky garden cause that is nowhere close to this AT ALL!
I played Bowser's Castle 1 on my 3DS' MK7.
Thanks for using my Boo Lake remix!
You should rename this: every mario kart SC track recreated in mario kart wii.😂
thats the real sky garden
10:30 because of MK Wii's limitations due to the Wii's poor hardware this cell-shady texture style, they use in the current DLC for MK8, really does the trick. Wii never handled realistic looking textures pretty good..
The GBA Broken Pier one would port well to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Comin' from the future: Why does the fanmade Sky Garden look so much better than the travesty we were given in the MK8 Dx Booster Pass... I mean, I guess it speaks alot to how Nintendo treats certain retro courses. Sky Garden was great on the GBA and subsequently on the DS.
Not even gonna lie if the MK8DX DLC has Riverside Park and it looks like that I would be very happy. Also Lakeside Park looks amazing!
Edit: to say I was happy seeing Riverside Park return would be an understatement
GBA remakes are best tracks ever
We need a modern reboot of Mario Kart Super Circuit MADE BY FANS.
why is the cheese land one based on the Mario kart 8 version!!??? was so hoping they'd do the original space style one
i wish you included the mkwii custom track of sky garden
I definitely prefer the ctgp7 version of lakeside park over the new tour version.
I can’t believe that the Wii track of Mario Circuit looks EXACTLY like it does in Mario Kart 8.
Nooo why did u cut the best part of the gba rainbow road music to put your ending music
GBA Rainbow Road custom track used in this video was used for Mario Kart DS, Wii, and 7 so when will it be used in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I bet you that if GBA Rainbow Road gets recreated during the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass it will look stunning like that but better.
I would love to see GBA's rainbow road in MK8DX!
@@MarioPower55 I predict that the Spiny Cup will be 4 different Rainbow Roads: GBA, GCN, DS, Wii
Boo lake vs broken pier
Shy guy beach vs cheap cheap island
Bc3 vs bc4
Luigi circuit vs mario circuit
Riverside vs lakeside
Pick your favorites!
If they drop riverside in bcp it better look like this
The Riverside park remake is nice but doesn't really look anything close to the OG imo. Mainly the trees.
lets come back when nintendo drops there version so we can see how lazy they were.
Sky Garden looks way better than in the booster course pass
1:26 that is NOT the DS version. Why does Mario look like he's made of cardboard? He was full 3D in the DS version. The graphics and colors of everything is just generally different from the DS version in this. I'm not sure where you got this footage.
Lol it's the super mario kart Mario
@@GregTP That's not Super Mario Kart either. Everything looks full 3D except for mario himself who looks like he's made of cartboard..
Actually that's the SNES Mario from the MKDS mod CTGP-DS
So technically, this IS MKDS... but with a twist
wow
For rainbow road it should’ve been mayro’s amazing one in mkwii
I think this one is better than his
Mario kart double dash should got the old Mario karts tracks and never did
Why is sky garden mk8 even included it looks like a worse version of what we already have
I groaned whenever it got to a track that was remade in MK8. I wanted to see the GBA version done in another game's style, not the Mario Kart 8 version with shittier graphics.
The MK8 versions alter the tracks too much to the point where they feel like completely different tracks and not retro tracks.
First
But Sky Garden in MK8 Deluxe is already official
but the custom one is better because it has the original map layout and not cutting routes like the microtransactions kart and 8's versions
@@RayoMcQueen95990 but comparing to The Booster Pass one The fanmade one looks more flat
@@genobreaker2572 well there is a Mario Kart Wii mod that doesn't look flat and keeps the original map layout, unlike mario kart 8 and microtransactions kart
@@genobreaker2572 and? Whats the problem with it being flat? Most of the flat tracks are really good in the oficial MKs
Tell to the modders to stop making Nintendo Stuff like shit is like having an honest president on a win...
It's IMPOSSIBLE
lmao
VERY few of these are good and as close to the originals as possible, others...they try too hard, they end up becoming something completely different with little bits that remind you of what its supposed to be. ( cheese land )
The majority of the versions were on Wii 😒
People probably don't realize that by saying "I can't believe fans made/recreated courses better than Nintendo did" that it's more insulting to the fans who actually made decent tracks than it is Nintendo.
All it does is imply fans can't ever do better than official companies in some aspects. It takes time clearly, but there's no reason to think they can't make something good.
(Laughs in Christian Whitehead)
Not really. It's implying that Nintendo, one of richest companies in the world, has much more resources, money and workers to make something look good. Fanmade ones are either made by just one person or a small team, so of course it's more impressive when they make something better than a multi-million dollar company.
