I got a stretch belt 20 years ago, and recently started buying their stuff. I get it all online, shipped to the US. They are very well designed & put together, and i love their stuff!

I've been wearing work wear for over twenty five years, everything from Plano (Manovre), Kansas, Blacklader and Snickers...they all have good ideas but Snickers seems to be out in front for comfort especially when it comes to belt loops. I know it sounds silly but Snickers are the only ones that have loops in the right places if you need to wear a belt with the trousers, especially if you use a lot of power tool clips to hook them on to your belt, they stay up as you work!

    • @JohnMcGrathManInShed

and they are big enough to take a belt, had a pair of Tuffworks and couldn't fit a belt in the loops! you are spot on and it's a point I forgot to make.

John I’ve been wearing Snickers for years but about 15 years ago on a trip to America I discovered Dickies and boy do I love them. About half the price of Snickers and find them a true fit. Also Lee cooper do a great Carpenter trouser but order 2 sizes up.

Just visited Ireland and saw guys working in these pants and now my wife says I'm obsessed with them! I can't wait to get my first pair. I hate regular tool pouches for cabinet Install and work vests/aprons are too hot to wear. Hope these will be an answer to my prayers.

Great videos. The snickers direct website is not actually run by snickers. A guy working in the snickers shop was telling me it’s basically some guy who buys them in bulk and sells them on for a profit on his website. I think there was even a court case and he had to stop using the official snickers logo on his website

Industrial parks here as well, qualified in '95, wearing Snickers for years-since the shiny blue pants back in the day! The flex's with holster pockets were my last few pairs, I found that the quality of them was rubbish, wearing out on the knee pads & crotch especially. The rough work are good, especially in the winter-a bit toasty in this weather, and their jackets are still great. I picked up two pairs of Englebert Strauss es. motion ten's in Germany a few years ago on a job, outstanding quality, durable and very comfortable.
They are well worth a look, bought some more recently online.

My new workshop in the cellar is going to be about 50m2 and I’ve been allowed a budget of 2-3k euros to purchase both quality hand and power tools e.g. sliding mitre saw, router, table drills etc..... I wear both.
I've ripped every pair of Snickers that I've had.
I had a pair of Englebert 'Roughtuff' trousers, the knees went through after 6 months, and the crotch in less than a year, it was a shame because they were the nicest work trousers I've had. I have a couple of Englebert softshell jackets and they are excellent, waterproof as long as you don't wash them too often, and my first one lasted 3 years before the zip broke.
I've just bought some Englebert Strauss 'Prestige' trousers, they are very comfortable and look good, but it's too early to say how tough they are.

Horseshit!, you be lucky to get 12 months from a pair of snickers!, crotch always goes first!, it’s defo the weakest spot!, then the knee pad holsters then the zip!!, but……. To be fair, they are prob the better option
