Yesterday I purchased #158 Rose Natural lipliner to go with my favourite Chanel lipstick #174 Rouge Angelique. I wore it today - the application was smooth and it didn't bleed throughout the day. True professional quality that one would expect from Chanel. Sure beats the old dry lipliner like you said.
I picked up the Camelia Rose & Rouge Metal. And for lipliners I picked Rose Naturel & Pivione. I love the lipliners how they are so soft & glide on. Both of the lipsticks & lipliners look beautiful on you!
Hi Alli ~ Both combinations looked soft, fresh, and lovely on you. Is there a lip color that you don’t like on you ?? Seems to me, no matter what color lip you wear, it looks beautiful on you. And I can picture Velvet Jazz on you with that top you’re wearing. Divine !! That lip pencil looks nice and long. If it’s full of product the price tag seems like a good value, especially with the lip brush built into the other end and the sharpener. Lovely !! 😘

Not sure about the Camellia LE lipsticks yet, but at least one of the liners will be mine! 👄 Edited to add: Just ordered the same liner you have, #172 Bois de Rose, and an LE lipstick, #607 Rouge Metal. (I looked in the regular packaging for this colour, but couldn't find it.) It's a bit out of my comfort zone, but sooo pretty!
Hi Susan! The lip liners are priority: they're a definite improvement over the older formula. The Camelia lipsticks are nice, but more of a collector's item.
I ordered the clear lip liner because I have so many others. I have three or four Chanel liners and the rest are Lancôme and Dior. Lancôme is my favorite so far! We’ll see how the new Chanel compares.
You chose the colours well. I think these lipsticks are pretty with the camellia. I also got camellia rose a great shade as you said for everyday. I went with camellia Grenat as my darker shade. The one that surprised me was camellia Blanc. I received it and tried it right away and loved it. Everyone was sold out of it when I went back to get a second one. My rep at Nordstrom’s crooked online and the had some out west to order for me. It is basically a nothing colour but I love the old pencil on number 05 nude and I fill in my lips with that then put that camellia Blanc overtop and it looks so nice. I wore it to Nordstrom’s last week and the Chanel rep asked what I was wearing. She loved the combination. I also got carried away with liners. I did love some of their colours in the old style like or natural then they had a nice nude, a fabulous red called Carmin that has been discontinued for a few years and worked so well with my reds. I do get a few nudes Rose natural and brun nude and pivoting as well as rouge cerise and rose VIF . They are creamy and I need to swatch those old colours to see if they replicated them or not. Thanks for the video it was exciting to see what you got and how they looked on you. Stunning as always, there is never a bad colour on you. 😘😘😘
Thanks so much Hilda! I remember Carmin, it was such a great red shade. I'm really hoping they continue adding more shades in their lip liner collection. I like the initial colours, but it's always fun to see new shades added. I didn't think of mixing the Blanc lipstick with a nice nude liner, not that it matters because it's sold out here in Montreal too! 😂
Good video Allison. I got 2 of the new lipsticks and most of the new lipliners. I love the formula of the new lipliners. I liked the Fuschia lipstick I bought but was dissapointed in the Le Blanc light Pink- it was more like a lip balm than a lipstick. The colors you chose were great.
I got the Camilla rosé as well love it especially combined with the matching lip liner rosé poudre, Camilla Blanc and of course that gorgeous rouge metaal with matching lip liner ❤️❤️

I brought the nude about 2 years back and I felt like such an idiot because my elder daughter's cheap elf liners were more better quality. I love the camelia packaging and as always the colours always look beautiful on you x

You know different screens show different colors and since I ordered online from Feelunique I couldn't tell even though I checked with the Chanel site. I think I will order the Peachy nude which looks very light in color but from the name still peachy??? I don't know. We don't have it here so I cannot test it. Anyway, nothing from Chanel goes wasted here, I do wear everything I buy more or less xx

I purchased Camelia Rose and the shade Grenat. I haven't purchased Chanel lipsticks in quite some time. I like both shades and formulas but I am not over the moon about them. I am still on the hunt for a great satin finish lipstick. If you have any suggestions it is appreciated.

Lil Rockapotamus I thought it looked too cool at first too but I like it on my lips. Also, I did mix it with a lip liner so keep that in mind 😉
