I would youse star racing 2.0 cam that George Brice just deigned. That cam is an animal. I have one on order. For my 153 cubic inch see how it compares to my comp cams custom grind I had made and yoused last summer

Yeah I'm aware of that, however Jorge is the only one that could get me in and tuned by March 1st. As a TH-camr we have deadlines and a schedule to follow to bring good content to you. Jorge understands that, most shops don't give a F*** about that. That is why I made the trip down to All American Cycle.
This had nothing to do with my engine builder / assembler. The company I ordered the heads from is at fault for this. They did not mill them to the specs they told me they did to make the compression I needed to make big power.
@@Pinozcyclezandridez Correct. And we did. The deck height was near perfect, it pumped decent compression, however the rings weren't seated yet. Also I couldn't tell by looking at the bottom of the heads if they were milled enough or not.. Jorge looks at these every day, so when he took them off and looked at them, he noticed that they weren't milled nearly enough for the compression ratio I needed for this application to perform.

That dyno monitor you filmed showed in STD smoothing, Most people know that showing STD numbers read higher and less accurate. SAE smoothing represents more realistic standard conditions, STD artificially boosts numbers. Why didn’t he show the dyno sheet in SAE smoothing?
Wish i had money to play around and build my bike some more to what i want. Gotta do piece by piece and it takes forever. Coming up on 2nd year for me running 475 kit on mine like you did before you went 128.

Bro how quickly did he pull those heads, send them out, re-install and then re-tune? Was that all done in a few hours/same day? Gotta say, you are right, nobody turns work around like that site on scene. Def. have to give it to them.
He had the heads off in 1 hour. Sent to the machine shop same day. I went and picked them back up at 9pm. They were on the bike the next morning by 10am. Jorge and his crew are top tier mechanics that get shit done!! 10/10 recommend.
Bro the problem was not the cylinder heads. The problem is the cam is not the right choice for the compression ratio and the head cc. Now. Did they check the valve to piston clearance on the over lap. I hope it’s over 80 thousand of an inch. Or you will hit the piston at hi RPM. Reason it will hit is because it’s not a solid roller cam with valve lash adjustment the lifter if it bleeds down that it does at high rpm will make the valve timing change and it could hit would change the cam. CR 513. Make like over 180 or more. But anyways congratulations and hope it turns all out well. For you. Ride safe
You are 100% accurate with your info here, however this cam was sold as a kit with the cylinders, pistons, ported and milled heads from the same company to work together as a proven kit. The heads were not milled to spec to get the compression I needed to perform the way I wanted it to unfortunately.
I got to give it to brother for being transparent about your numbers. And your build parts. None of that childish secretive bs like by you know who. Anyone who is into racing understands that you can give out everything you did down the the color loctite you used and nobody is going to beat you with your own build list. The magic happens in that dyno room and if you can’t tune all you have is a bike with a bunch of expensive parts that runs like shit. Jorge is an excellent tuner.

Kinda new to this whole bike building. Just had a star racing 30/30 cam installed on my bike. Wasn’t pushing numbers I like 96 hp with I think 106 tq. So they gave me another free retune but I’m Looking to change up my stuff if there’s any tips for the best air cleaner to get and a 2-1 exhaust
It all is going to depend on how much power you want to make and how much money you want to spend. What kind of bike is it? I can give you some optimal options to go with!

Has Rinehart mufflers, a aftermarket hd air cleaner, and a tts tuner with a 30/30 cam. I honestly wanna be at the 110-114 hp mark I’ve seen it done but just don’t really know where to start I figured getting a better air intake would be the first thing
@@Poolywitdatooly142 Start by throwing that TTS tuner in the garbage. Get a Dyno Jet Powervision, 2 into 1 full length pipe, Cyclerama CR 480MT or CR483 Cam, and a better air cleaner that flows better. You will hit those numbers no problem.

Hi, maybe my question is a little silly, but what is the difference between putting it in the Dyno as you did and buying the Dynojet Power Vision PV3 and configuring it yourself?
You can perfect the tune way more on a live dynometer. Every bike is different. Canned tunes are not 100% accurate for every application. They will get you on the road running, but not perfect like a dyno tune would.
What size engine did you build? Also I notice all your license plates are color matched to the bike. Does the state do that or is it something you did yourself
Because why would I want to go slower? I'm not one to talk bad about other shops, but let me just tell you that 1/2 of those customer bikes I showed you in his parking lot all came from moonshine to get the All American Cycle Treatment.
@@stevenramos4400 What I can tell you is that the 480MT cam is a blast to ride - has lots of TQ down low. The 483 is more of a performance cam so you will have more top end power with that cam.

He took out the 132 kit and installed a kit from Jorge at All American Cycle. All I can tell you is that it's not bigger than a 131ci motor :)
