If ypu remove the earpads, there is is small indentation (see 2:41). That is where you can feed the new pad in. Just turn the earpad until it is fully on the earphone. easy peasy.

You ever take something apart, put it back together without doing anything and it just works? Right side of my headphones weren't contacting corretly, took it apart, put it back together, and the contacts feel like working again. Needed this tutorial to get the cushions back on. Thank you!

Dude Thank you so much - you just saved me hours of frustration!!! Truly, thanks.
For others: it's a small hole in the plastic. Applies to other JBL as well (mine is jr310bt). Get it in there and spin the earpad 360degrees slowly. Took me less than 5mins to do both.
