Hi. I really like your videos. I wanted to point out that this one has an inaccurate explanation of the “over and back” (backcourt violation) rule. The rule (in all levels in the US anyway) is that the dribbler with the ball retains backcourt status until both feet and the ball touch only the front court. This video wrongly states that only the ball needs to touch the front court-in the demo, the dribbler could actually legally go back to the backcourt.

They then look to PASS the ball because if they dribble again, it is a double dribble violation. I get that. But then again, I will ALSO see the following. If you follow the logic of the out of bound rule, then a player should jump through the hoop to score, and not throw the ball. I dont understand why they don't fix this rule. It depends if you fake shot with one hand it’s not a double dribble if you just caught the ball from a pass and don’t dribble and pump fake it’s not a double dribble but if you dribble pump fake with two hands then dribble it’s a double dribble. I hope that helps (:
