Sadly this race was bugged when I was recording this video and I am not sure if it still is for me but I will have a look and see if it is :') ♥ Overall a very successful Gacha session at the very least. Star Equestrian information guide!
Hi I’ve been playing the game since it released and I’ve fully completed everything in the game that is currently available (apart from mastery). I wanted to make a information guide for anyone who needs some help. I’ve probably missed some things here but I wrote down as much important information I could remember about the game. If I’ve missed anything important feel free to comment to add to the list. If you’re struggling in the game you can always ask in the chat and someone will probably be able to help you, lots of people ask for help with quests.
Gems
Gems are the premium currency in the game. You can either buy them or earn them in game for free. Each day you have daily tasks which will give you 70 gems. Completing quests and side quests will also give you gems. You can also find gems in chests hidden around the map. You can also earn gems by competing in the weekly tournaments. Gems are used to get keys which gives you a chance to get a horse.
Keys
When using keys you can chose to spend them on the silver keys or ancient keys (these are for limited time horses). You are guaranteed a 5 star horse after using 90 keys. You can get lucky and get the 5 star horse before then though. Every 20 keys used you’re guaranteed a 4 star horse and every 10 keys used you’re guaranteed either a 4 star horse or a 4 star item of tack. When using a key you are given 10 gem dust, this can be used to buy new clothing items for your character which is found in the character section in the menu.
Weekly Tournaments
The most recent update brought out weekly tournaments. You compete in 4 different races to get the best time possible on the leaderboard. The prizes for each place are listed in the weekly tournament section found when you click the jump icon in the top left (this can also be used to compete in any jumping or cross country race).
Coins
Coins can be used to buy feed for your horses and upgrade tack, as well as buy items to upgrade and decorate your ranch. You can buy coins with real life money or you can earn them by taking part in competitions. You can also earn coins by completing quests.
Competitions
Only on the first time completion (gold ribbon) of a race you will earn gems. You can then also earn coins and tack from competitions. You gain xp from this and each race shows which type and how much xp your horse can earn (speed, agility, jump, accelerate, and stamina). It is recommenced to have over the required stats for each competition as it makes it a bit easier to win. You can complete each competition as many times as you want to grind xp and coins.
Competition tips
I’ve seen a lot of people in game have been struggling with some of the competitions. If you’re over the minimum stats for the competition and you’re still struggling here are some tips. Just before the race starts after 1 you can press the forward button and you still start the race in canter. You can still cut the corners even on races with the accuracy line. Just make sure to not cut them too much. Try to sprint or gallop as much as possible it will save time but canter around very tight corners especially if it’s close to a jump. Never let your stamina bar run out, stamina is used by jumping, galloping and sprinting. If you’re about to run out of stamina slow down to a canter. If the stamina bar runs out it take a lot longer for it to fill up again especially if you have to keep jumping. When sprinting 3 arrows will come up on your screen if you press the forward button on the third arrow that lights up you will get another sprint boost. If you’re still struggling I’d recommend levelling up your stats and tack more. I’ve found speed and agility the most helpful things in competitions to be a higher level.
Tack
Upgrading tack is important as it increases your horses stats. You can upgrade tack with tool kits or by merging pieces of tack together to level up your main piece. Each tack item has its own maximum stats it can reach, this can be seen by going into the shop menu then clicking tack and then finding the tack piece you want to see the stats for.
Horses
Most of the important things about the horses have been covered earlier but there are some other things that are important. Your horse has its own maximum stat level which can be found by going into the shop menu then clicking horses and then finding the horse you want to see the stats for. Bonding with your horse is important as it can unlock things such as sprinting and a sliding stop. To bond with your horse you can feed them, ride them and pet them (there is a daily limit to this so you can’t fully bond with your horse in one day). Mastery I feel is more later game, to unlock mastery points you have to get another horse of the same breed. Mastery points unlock things such as mane and tail styles and colours, to better stats such as regaining stamina faster.
Ranches
Levelling up your ranch is very important. There are three ranches, a 3 star, 4 star and a 5 star. The 5 star ranch is the biggest, has more land to build on, gives better and more bonuses, and can stable the most horses, however it is the most expensive at 100,000 coins. You earn ranch builder points by placing items on your ranch (inculuding houses, stables, and stalls). Ranch builder points give helpful stats to your stabled horses such as more coins each race and regaining stamina faster (you can still ride your stabled horses).
Resources
Resources respawn daily at 1am gmt (uk time). Recourses are food items and items you can collect from some animals. You can feed your horse the food you collect and the other items can be used for the repeatable side quests and some main quests. Resources are found all over the map and they are shown and little green crop type symbols only on the mini map. I would recommend riding around the whole map each day and collecting as many as you can find (it takes me about 20 minutes but I’m sure it can be done faster). While out collecting you also have a chance to find hidden chests.
Other info
You can actually play the game on pc. You can download an app called bluestacks, it is a phone emulator (you can chose what device you want to emulate in the settings) you go onto the playstore and download the game from there. I’ve found that it’s a bit more laggy but your pc might handle it better than mine. To help with any lag that you might be having either on mobile or pc you can go into a quieter server, just go into the menu (the three lines in the top left) click settings, then server, then either find a quieter server or create your own. You can also turn off the day and night cycle in the settings menu. I believe there is a horse market update out where you can just buy horses outright but I don’t think apple users have the update yet.
The race you're trying to do that is bugged, however it is possible to complete it. It takes a few tries but from what I remember I had to start the competition in a walk instead of canter, I have also heard that sticking to the far right or left of the flags you pass through can help too, good luck!

@@sandydarkfall I just went on to check and mine isn't bugged anymore, it doesn't have the part where the line goes into the ground which makes you fail. Hopefully that means they're starting to fix it!

There are horse markets you can buy horses from but you have to pay like 4000 gems or even more so I prefer doing the gatcha❤

What’s the Gatcha?
The Gacha is the system that makes you spend a certain amount of money/currency in games in a more gambling way. Where you get random items but in a certain amout of money spent you will recieve a cool item or horse! In this case the money is the Gems ♥

I got the same color for the Clydesdale but they named him tomahawk so I didn't change it. Also as for the bug, try clearing cache, force stopping the app, or running around that one spot you're glitched at, like go off to the side but not too far or try jumping where it glitches. That's usually how I fix it and it work 80% of the time.
