I have seen a video the vault means the stuff that you have more in your inventory goes to the vault so then you have to try to get it back if you want the stuff you want

I can agree with this, since I was robbed of some money as well, without getting my money's worth! My future for this game is extremely bleak. This is a great example of the horse game greed!
