If you spray on a che😢called BAC 50 when your roof is completely dry it will eliminate that green fungus and prevent it from growing. Another awesome video and Mrs Gate Lady did a fantastic job with the drone.

That growth can only be battled with chemistry, or you wait and then do a deep clean, then paint it. It's an ongoing battle here in Denmark - lots of green roofs.

That was a fantastic subtle pitch to your Dad for a new tractor - make him grain cart with it and then he brings up the issues with the clutch and gear box and you just confirm how much you have done to solve it - very clever sowing of the seed of a need for a replacement - my cap is well and truely doffed to you sir!

I did lots of trial work at home after Uni, almost impossible to measure properly or get statistically significant results, as you said, far too many variables.
The stout is great, keep some for my next visit to the shop.

Copper strip along the ridge line was at one time a successful approach to keeping roof moss at bay.

6:12 If you line the front of the stewart trailer with the front of the divider on the combine, that should be the spout at the back of the trailer.

Your lichen issue on the roof. 1 part bleach, 9 parts water. Will help kill and remove.
OR use a concrete sealer, make the surface slick with fewer places the lichen can grow into.

Would it be worth getting your next tractor with an easily removable front loader especially for harvest time, ideal for moving bales etc. obviously price would be an issue but it may well be with it when the forklift are busy with Fert, seed, grain etc.

The modern fibre cement is nowhere near as good as the old stuff with the asbestos in it! If you're having trouble with the barge boards/verging, you can get a good finish by using a wide tin verge instead. Butyl sealants work well, and remain flexible, without bonding the roof components together. Hopefully it'll be good as is though.
