Thanks a lot for this awesome tutorial. However I’m getting a very blurry window in VR via MoveVR. Doesn’t matter the window. The ipad window or even a simple notepad window is almost unreadable before I even try to resize it. Any idea what could cause that? Everything looks perfect on the computer screen but really bad in VR. One more thing: the only way I can resize a window via MoveVR is by grabbing the corner. If I try to extend it horizontally or vertically, Xplane 11 crashes right away and I have to close everything. Anyone has the same issue?

Nice tutorial. I am wondering how to control the functions in foreflight with a VR headset on? I am assuming this is only mirroring and no way to control inputs?
I have an I pad mini with cellular/gps and have GPS location enabled. I can see it on the monitor (I have 3) but it will not show when Xplane 11 is running. I have tried many settings wit no luck. It is hidden unless I quit x plane 11
I realize this is a few years old but had a question. I followed all the steps and it still didn’t connect to my iPad. Redid them 2 more times to no avail. My xplane is running on a fairly old computer (but works fine) could it be that? Is there something else I could do to get them to connect? Am working on my instrument rating and this sim has helped a lot. Thanks in advance for any additional help you can offer
VRFW, I stumbled upon this video and it is exactly what I am looking for. I have been mirroring my iPad onto desk top then grabbing the tablet in vr DASH?. So I have the foreflight verified connection but not showing up on my desktop. Should it? Does air server do that? Also I downloaded the move VOR and unzip etc but not showing up in aircraft. Maybe restart airplane? Thanks
Hey John, Sorry for the delay. Just found your comment. air server should allow what you see on your tablet to show up on your desktop. You will have to go through the setup process for airserver. The Move VR has to be unzipped and added to your X-Plane plugins folder. Once it is added, you can open this from your plugins menu from within X-Plane 11.
I fly helicopters recreationally but I don't use Foreflight. I use FltPlan Go as its free. this setup should work exactly the same for FltPlan Go, should it not?

May I ask you a silly question, Im using Xplane11 (steam) with i5 9400F with a Nvidia Gtx 1070ti, it runs good, but now I just purchased Saitek controls (yoke, throtle and ruder pedals), Xplane recognized the all three components, actually I am able to calibrate through Xplane, but as soon as I jump into the aircraft, no flight controls works at all... : (
That’s strange. Have you tried it in a different aircraft. I know with some aftermarket planes, you have to add the controls to the plane within its own menu system.
Rodrigo Villalobos Ive had the same problem. It won't work if you have another controller plugged in to your PC. For example my problem was I had a spektrum RC transmitter plugged into my computer
Thanks for uploading this - got it set up with no tech issues. Have you found a workaround so you don't have to pop your headset off to manipulate the ipad? Also, how do you capture your video with the AirServer window taking up the desktop? GeForce experience just screengrabs the iPad display. Thanks again for contributing this!

Glad it worked! I have a multiple monitor setup, so it allows me to have multiple things open.
