Jewelry has always been a thing for me, but ironically I used to only wear silver, which now I find really drains my color, so I switched to gold I believe during highschool. And I think I started with wearing one or two necklaces every day, never took them off besides showering, then after a bit I stopped and switched to bracelets, had one or two that I never took off, then switched to rings, where I have a gold one I got from my parents that's been on for gosh, probably 10 years now, but it's slightly broken so I've been on the hunt for another dainty one to replace it and more to add into a small collection. I just find a lot of comfort wearing a single or maybe 2 pieces of a jewelry as an every day thing. Maybe it's just knowing it's always there, and feeling it every day or seeing it every day that gives me comfort.
@@JessUndecided I've thought about it, but really only as all these things in the world started happening, but for sure once places are open, I'll see what they can do before I decide to retire it off my finger. I'm glad it's still wearable at the very least, I'd feel too bare without anything! :P

I was the same, was wearing mostly silver and thought gold was too old school, but now I am so drawn to yellow gold!
