Seeing a clean rip of the footage and music is surreal. I'm so glad my Leapster 2 works. It was lost for nearly a decade in a drawer at my dad's house before I just randomly found it. With some new batteries and tons of turn on attempts it finally worked again.

None of the above but they're similar to MIDI in how they work. It's a custom format made by LeapFrog that currently can't be played outside of real Leapster hardware.
Omg thank you so much for uploading these they’re so nostalgic for me and also pretty good songs in general. I have my leapster sitting on my lap right now and was listening to the music, so I figured I’d check if they’re on TH-cam now. I searched for hours maybe a year ago and couldn’t find anything then. Creativity Castle is my favourite out of these and I kinda know how to play it on piano. Also do you know if these are copyrighted bc I kinda wanna use this as background music for some TH-cam videos

Yes, that was the only way this was possible back then. There still isn't any functional Leapster emulators, but a ton of MIDIs recently got released here and I'm still working on making a soundfont to use on them: archive.org/download/LF-MIDI-COLLECTION

8:31 was the boss music for Dragon Kingdom, which was a built-in game that came with the green leapster 2.
I could’ve sworn there was one where it was night and there were crickets and light background music, with cattails in the scene as well!

Real.

It’s the dragon kingdom boss music
I played it when i was a little kid and it was my first well me and Marisol first device
The low battery sound of the Leapster 2 used to scare the absolute DAYLIGHTS out of me when I was 5
This the Leapster that is advanced that you can plug in a USB cable to it
I wish I could fool around with the leapster 2 soundfont to make some music with it.

Yeah, but we don't know how to access it. I ripped the swf file for the home screen and extracted frames (using a flash decompiler) for this video.
