- This is the 2021 Chevy Malibu LT! This Malibu comes equipped with a 1.5 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder engine mated to a CVT. This particular one comes in summit white on medium ash gray cloth interior. Standard features on this Malibu include Bluetooth audio, a backup camera, and wireless Apple CarPlay! Options include a power seat and remote start.

For anyone contemplating buying one, go for it. They ride beautifully. I test drove one and reminded of my Grandads chevrolet celebrity. I tried a 2021 impala and the malibu definitely beats it in ride quality.

I have the 2021 LS and it's move pretty well when that turbo kicks in
Just some constructive feedback. I'm in the market for this car. I'd appreciate it if you gave your opinion on some the stuff you're reviewing instead of just telling us what's there. You went over the interior features just saying what was in there and not commenting on how it compared with other cars, how you felt about it, etc. I like hearing that stuff as an inexperienced car buyer. You did better during the test drive part though.

This is what we rented when we went to my sister Kristi's house back in November. So anyways, the Chevy Malibu is based on the Equinox, the Trax is based on the Sonic (the Sonic is gone), and the Blazer is based on the Camaro.

Ido love my 2013 LTZ 2.0 T malibu it still runs great at 96 k 24 mpg at 90 mph in Texas and that 2.0 has plenty of punch For Dallas Texas wide streets.
i have a 2014 LS 2.5L malibu with 111k. bought it used with 96k and the transmission went out at 100k. luckily it had a warranty

That Malibu Rides So Good Because Of That Turbo That CVT Helps That Malibu Get Going Not With The Nissan Kicks Because That Nissan Kicks Is So Slow Including That Toyota C-HR Which Also Has That Continuously Variable Transmission.
Is there remote controlled start? Being able to start this bad boy while I get ready for work is super important more so in the winter.

Definitely an option you can put on them for a few hundred, but a lot of dealers add it on before selling anyways.
Remote start is available with OnStar also.

I know this video may be a little older. But I've been considering buying a 2022 Malibu LT. I've heard that Malibus have had problems with reliability (seem to be mainly the older ones.) But would it be worth the purchase?
I liked mine, but I’d buy from a place that offers a lifetime powertrain warranty, or get an extended warranty to be safe.
Is there a way to get a power passenger seat on the new ones? Leather package or does the premier offer that?
Leather package or premier is the only way to get it I believe.

This car is weak as hell... Acceleration is sloppy. Almost as bad as the 2021 3 Cylinder TrailBlazer... Get the Charger..
I just bought the same 1.5T model in China, the only difference is it comes with a 9AT transmission. Overall i think it is quite a nice car, although the sound quality of the speakers are not all that gr8 especially the bass part i suppose i will have to live with that.
Bro you can always upgrade your audio system. I can't wait I got 2 12s L3s and I'ma put like 4-6 tweeters and upgrade the interior speakers.

I got this as a rental car from my insurance and it is a smooth ride but very different from the 2005 Mercedes I was driving. I don't know if I just need to get used to it but does the steering wheel feel extremely small to anyone else? And the turning lights and windshield wiper levers are really high up so it's kind of awkward.
I had one and when I had it I thought it was perfect but I’m 6’ 3 and it has a lot to do how your seat is set too. That’s just my opinion though.

Drove it a few days ago..pretty smooth but it doesn't have the zip of the Camry.
Chances are they didn't have the right gas. You gotta use plus or premium.

i have a kia forte gt 2021 and when i went to the garage they passe me this car. I must say that I am over but there is some positive point
I just got a 2020Kia Forte gt and 3 days later I took it to the dealsher ship to put my new grill on. They gave me a loaner and it was this. I like the Kia better but this is a nice car. What did you think? Also how is ur Kia Forte gt holding up
Also the suspension in the 2021 seemed a lot better than my Kia. I felt the bumps in my Kia more

No, but with wireless Apple CarPlay you can display phone map on touchscreen.
Excuse me, the 2021 has a talking Navigation system, PLUS the Onstar safety and navigation!

The LT is not a turbo charge. You not the Premier comes with 2.0T
All of the Malibu’s are turbocharged now. 1.5L Turbo and 2.0L Turbo.

The new design is never desirable in the Gulf.

Chevy is doomed. It makes me sad. They can't compete with the Japanese. I don't understand why. Faced with the choice between this 1.5 T only making 160hp or a Honda 1.5T making 180hp, getting better gas mileage while doing it. It's a real shame. What happened?

0-60 in 8 seconds is pretty bad.
Pretty much ALL the time, you won’t be going 0-60 when you’re merging onto a freeway. It would generally be 30-60 or 30-70 so give it a rest speed racer. 0-60 times don’t matter in an economy car. This isn’t a Camaro or corvette
The cruze will only do 0-60 in 7.7 seconds. These are not sport sedans like a charger SRT. The idea is a nice riding car that is good on gas.
