I think Damned should also neglect the hanger debuff because Damned users are more depressed than the Hanger itself

Decaying winter lore: Damned was the most op character in the entire game but he was bored because of his extremly high strength movility and abilitys so he nerfed herself whit chains an estrict diet
The fact that damned doesnt take morale debuffs its because he so happy that he now have a true challenge that he dont even feel bad about their teamates dying

Here’s more to cover:
- Wood Branch+Bow will refill the bow, or craft quievers. Wood branch can be harvested from wood pile.
- if you see rekigon aka shadow monster just run grr
- you can be a good teammate that harvest and craft pavises. But solo, uhhhh. Not so much
- if you survive through wave 7 solo I have nothing to say
- Tell what your enemies is by listening for their sound cue, as combat is harder now
You can also craft a bow, btw. Will have weaker stats and less ammo, but it is much cheaper than cmp Milbow;
Stone + Stone = Stone Scrap (sScrap)
sScrap + Stone = Crafted knife (cKnife) [T0 melee weapon]
cKnife + Wood = Crafted Bow (cBow)
Overall, the costs are:
3 Stone, 1 Wood
6 scrap Mindflayer Perk
15 scrap Other Perks
30 scrap Prophet Perk
Crafted quiver is better, 4 rocks for 4 quivers in 1 inventory slot

My damned traits are impatient, hipfire accuracy, and less recoil.
An "easier" solo damned run should always: make at least 2 bows, make walls, make a lot of quivers (4 stone scrap is needed but gives 4 reloads) wood scrap reload is good for scavenging but ONLY for scavenging since it reloads slower than quivers (I think), slide whenever possible (keep in mind how much you slide and sprint), KEEP AWAY FROM MELEE RANGE, I recommend hiding in a corner with good visibility, scrap purple and orange stims, save green, blue, clear (if you lack tourniquets), and red stims, save punjis, and always aim for the head.
I would go for Impatient, fearless and faster heavy swings, why choose hipfire when bows already have perfect hipfires and shotgun recoils aint that bad

currently there's 11 people who have done damned, the traits always tend to be
i) Impatient, Fearless, Paranoid
ii) Dependable, Fearless, Paranoid
iii) Methodical, Fearless, Paranoid
All 11 have used either of these 3. The first person used iii)

Seriously though damned has like 1 use case which is just to be the morale tank so teammates can press 0 over and over again
this could be an actual use case to get 40 more scrap with every time you respawn except you can use another perk and get the 4 morale and you still are better off than being damned

ah yes, the perk where executioner sword heavy hits deal 38 damage and sledgers and AI-AWSM snipers are the true final boss of DW
btw quick note, damned's -50% defense makes AI-AWSM snipers deal 45 damage and sledger heavies deal 90 on hit and thats not even counting backstabs
mostly i look around before looting outpost or mountain
Sledger's base heavy dmg is already 90 💀

I think the lore about damned is "you were the Scavenger in this hell hole of a place where you were capture. Instead of killing you, You were cuffed and help fight with 4 of the agent. You remembered your friends turn into foe after you were captured, you forgot how to aim or shoot properly, you can't run fast, you attack very slow. Atleast you get no depression after a agent die."

The update made damned pretty impossible to solo win without duping.
Some of you could be wondering why and how can a damned be immune to morale this is my theory my opinion so don't get angry
Morale is if a teammate dies you'll get this it's like you just saw your friend died and you're sad so that's why you have low speed low damage and low defense unlike damned since they don't have any equipment and was tortured making them hate them so they won't don't get sad
That's my theory
Damned is a prisoner so they have no attachment to the agents that's why they start game starved and have chains on their hands
As a frontliner damned main I usually get
Violent tendencies (for fireier axe or billhook)
Fearless and dependable (for that sweet 15% defence and 25% against firearms and explosives
I got damned mastery, yay.
Violent tendencies - to Mine wood and stone faster
Survivor - Slowly heal light injuries
Calm - to Mine wood and stone for longer
All this makes up the wild scavenger playstyle.
I’ve been using Honorable, Violent Tendencies, and Tormented
2 sides about damned
Backliner which uses milbow/ksg/rsass etc with paranoid
Frontliner Executioner with methodical and almost every enemies will get 1 hit from it
Damned is basically test of your faith, I had struggle about trying to beat damned solo and I failed the last wave..
So from a guy who haven't play this game.

it stacks up and makes u really weak
damned is bad at everything but he doesnt suffer from morale so yea

Too be honest i 100% agree with you the damned .Damned is pretty impossible unless you have like 4 lazarus or exploits.Also you can always make some get all of the morale and rejoin the game it works.
in the decaying winter perk lore the damned was sent here with no free will but other perks came like idk arbiter risk runner drifter vagabond and more but why would they give the damned a melee or gun if they where forced here against their will then common sense says that they will just backstab the other agents on eden-227 is it just me who thinks that?

I mean, the only way damned can be effective is in public lobbies. No friendly death debuffs, legit immune to defaults and jncreased immunity to blitzer trollers

damned debuffs are only worth two morale whereas if you get four morale with a normal perk then its basically death to practically any heavy melee (including pipe scav 🗿)

honestly, instead of using damned to prevent morale you can use the koldera black equipment, as it decreases morale effects by 70%, use koldera every storm, as any equipment regenerates every night

damned perk lore(ig): a betrayed agent who get dragged into eden-227 with the other agents and since morale basiclly depression and damned just simply a betrayed agent so they doesnt care about the other die in there eyes so they didnt get morale
Actually, damned is a broke hobo in the agency so thats why hes hungry and dehydrated and the agency doesnt want a useless agent so they throw him into the experiment with cuffs as his sent to die with nothing to lose but he kept moving forward

I once got true ending with another damned we were just chilling inside the ship while the other players just do the hard work

Honestly the 2x Oden and XP kinda actually makes sense. The agent is paid more so they can pay their debt (if they even survive) and they get more experience since they will quickly learn from mistakes (getting stabbed and shot) while the unable to run is probably damned accepting death
