Easily one of favorite openings in any JRPG series Ive ever played. This was the game I hoping would get a remaster the most and my wish came true!!!! Rejoice Graces fans
Finally got around to starting this today. You know that feeling you get when you just know you're going to love a game just from its intro? Yeah, I got that.
Used to play this game with my ex years ago. Would just lay together on the couch for whole evenings until we finished the game. I don't even know where she is anymore but memories are still there. Good times, hearing the intro just hit me like a truck
wow... me and my ex played this game too @ his house. and l bought him the game and he gave me the soundtrack that came with the game. sry if your feeling sad maybe play a game to cheer up ^^
And this is why I love the Japanese aesthetic on music and how it relates to the work to which it is attached. There is always meaning in the lyrics of any Japanese game's music.

Gawd i regularly forget to press start and just listen to this over and over. Its so beautiful. Loving this game when i play tho haha. Vesperias opening song is great too
Great game, great story, great combat, great characters. Though other games like Tales of Vesperia had more comedy, and perhaps better story, it's hard to pick which one is better. Inside of battle Hubert was always my favorite, outside of battle it would easily be Pascal. Love this game.
I haven't played Vesperia yet, but this and Tales of the Abyss are my two current favorite Tales games. And I'm the same way. Hubert was always my favorite fighter. Pascal was the best personality, IMO. I haven't found anyone so far in another game that fights similarly to Hubert, and it makes me sad.
leonhardtz5 I'd say Regal in Symphonia might fight a bit like Hubert? I never used either of them but just from watching in fights that would be my best guess..
honestly vesperia was a let down for me and graces was wayyyy better than how everyone told me it'd be. vesperia wasnt bad, but it somehow felt a little too generic...or maybe my expectations were too hogh...didnt quite compare to the emotional rides from abyss symphonia and berseria
This is one of the few ocassions I agree, some people are bagging on the English version for no reason other than the fact it's in English. Never mind it's the same singer and she's known for singing in both languages (and in Korean which it's her native language to begin with).

Actually, one is if you watched Nore's Infintiy Blast Caliber Glitch. But you are probably right about Sophie. Finding a VA with a voice to match her personality is pretty hard.
Ahh, don't worry guys, i'm quite positive we'll see Graces in NA. I finished it a couple days ago and namco would be crazy not to localize this. It's on a console that has a fairly high demand for decent RPG's right now and it's also probably the best game on the Wii. Abive and beyond that, this is a 3D Tales game on a current gen console, so far we've gotten every 3D console Tales game. There's no doubt in my mind that we'll be getting this one. I'm more worried about Sophie's english VA.
My 1st Tales Of game got it yesterday on release day the moment I saw that Anime opening & this started playing I knew this was a series that was made for me ^__^
I probably won't mind the VAs, considering the job Bamco has been doing recently. What I'm more concerned about is them removing the bugs this game has. The amount of bugs in this game is probably 2nd to Abyss, and when you consider Abyss, its atrocious. Though I do agree with you that not localizing Graces is probably a really dumb move on their part. Although Graces did bomb in sales, selling even lower than ToS-R, does concern me for localization.
