Fantastic, congratulations to Ginger, Toddy, you, and Luca & family. You picked a couple of winners there. Toddy is so adorable with his little tail all flagged out: "Look at me, people, in the show ring already a winner, look out world, here I come!" Saucy little boy! It would be adorable to have a video of you doing a little dressage routine with Ginger while Toddy trots along with his mum!
Congrats! They're both beautiful regardless, but it's great to have them approved in the breed. Was wondering if this is a one-time thing for life, and does Toddy have to go back for grading when he's grown? (Is "foal approval" more about the sire's ability to produce quality offspring?)
Ginger is a nice uphill mare and deserves to be placed premium. My favorite warmbloods are Holst, and Olds! Congrats! Are you going to register her with any other books? I bet she would have done better if you had the time to get off property to school, but I don't know how safe that is. Ginger looks more like a Holsteiner to me.
So very happy for everyone involved! Those are two gorgeous and well mannered horses, with beautiful conformation and an eager way of going. Congratulations!
Congratulations!! So happybfor you!! What a great start to your breeding program!! Two premiums!! WOW!! Next will be Toddy as a 3 year old going for the stud book, unless you geld him, of course. Best Regards from your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
Congratulations! This is so cool. This is how it should be done in purebred dogs as well. Pedigree is all well and good but type and performance are even more important in determining if an animal is a good example of a breed and thus worthy of breeding.
Can you explain what 'water damage' means? And why are glued on shoes point deductible, surely it shouldn't matter what shoes a broodmare wears (if she wears any)?
water damage is when the hooves get a bit too soft. can lead to bruised feet from the pressure not being spread out correctly across the foot. not sure on the shoes side of it tho lol

If I decided to keep him a stallion then he would have to be reevaluated.
So beautiful 🥰 they glide along like glass…Congratulations!
Beautiful pair in great condition.

16.2h. I've never had a horse so big & tall. Lovely horses. Biggest horse I ever owned has been 14.3h . I like that breeds get evaluated this way.
Congratulations!! Another awesome video!! Thank you!!😊

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Would you post a picture of the Stud? I tried to find him on line and maybe I'm spelling him name wrong.

@@bevakathedementedraccoon Thank you for the explanation, I was confused by water damage also.
@@annatiernan1474 no probs
I think it’s because they preferably want horses with good enough hooves where they don’t need shoes. I apologize, just my guess.
Congratulations 🍏 🥕 🍻 #holsteinerkennenkeinegrenzen #holsteinerdontknowboundaries 👍
Will you event Ginger, or will she just be a broodmare?
Why would they ding her for glue on shoes?
I’m surprised you don’t have LED lights in your trailer.
It’s my dads trailer ;)
I'm dumb. Approval for what?
Congratulations!
