As much as i wish wild horses could stay wild, if they really are going to be tamed im just glad they are being cared for and being trained by someone caring
Why would you wish them to stay wild? Are you kidding? Life in the wild is savagery with a cruel end that lacks any relief. Every year is a challenge. It's easy to romanticize the wild when we're all enjoying modern First World creature comforts. Ha, I know you mean well, but I'm just reminding that the wild isn't a treat. In good hands, being a domestic horse is a dream come true. They'll never have any worries for life. Food and care will be there for them until their final days.
@@Starry_Night_Sky7455 so if we start to capture every wild animal like tigers and wolves because 'being wild is hard and we can make sure they live in comfort" you think thats ok? Animals born and raised in the wild should stay in the wild unless they have no chance at life if they dont get our help. With your image we wouldnt have any wild animals left. I wish them to stay wild because that is what they are and where they belong. You don't just take someone from their home. Thats like "oh hey, i know youre living middle class but here imma force you into living upper class because i think you want it more" and take you away from your family and everyone you care for. I get what youre saying, but wild horses are happy being wild. Life is rough no matter what, you really think a horse enjoys a saddle and bridle and having a bit put into their mouths? Pretty sure they enjoy living i. 'savagery'
@@devyndaisy5162 You mean they originally were domestic horses. Sadly, they were never treated as pets. These horses were worked to death. They were abandoned in that region by humans. Yes, feral horses. True wild horses don't exist other than the Przewalski 's Horse.
Man, I thought I was going to like Keton better with that Friesian-esque build, but Wyeth just has such a beautiful head and neck, I think I've changed my mind. What a sweet and honest boy!
@Vanessa AG You do realize these horses would probably starve or die in the wild, right? That's the reason for the Mustang roundup. This is reality, not some disney movie.
@Vanessa AG well they are lucky to be here rather than in the holding pens where they will be crowded and starved if not taken and if they aren't taken they will be shot. I know they probably rather the wild but really? If the government have taken them and won't let them into the wild this is the best place for them to be.
Aww! This is amazing how you're taking on 2 mustangs already, even after owning so many horses! You're an amazing rider and trainer, and I can't wait to see how well they've grown up and learned from you in the future! 😄😊
Oh my gosh, you can see that Wy wants to understand and wants to please, but he's just scared and hurting. I love how patient you are with these guys and I'm looking forward to seeing their transformation.
Great. Elisa has new Mustangs, I have waited for this and a new journey. They are both beautiful, and in the best hands possible. Thank you for posting.
I adore these journeys you take us on. You exude such skill and love to these horses. I see how they grow to trust you implicitly and love you completely. Wonderful to watch Elisa. Thank you for this.
Really cool to see how you start them... a great primer for anyone adopting. I adopted a wild black mare from Oregon back in 1985... 8 years running wild, and she became the steadiest horse I knew. If you take time and patience, and learn learn learn, a mustang will teach you so much.
They are both beautiful mustangs. I think all little girls dream of taming a wild black horse. The paint seems to have a bold nature, the black a little more timid. I enjoy watching you work with the wild ones.
GREAT !!! training video , love the soft & gentle & positive way of training , those horses will be fantastic riding companions , its FABULOUS that the SPANISH HERITAGE of SPANISH HORSES , has ENDURED for 5 CENTURY'S and it's WELL AND ALIVE !!!
I'm so excited to see these two on day 90. Seeing the progress that you made with these horses just in a few days is amazing, they are so full of potential! And Wy is such a trooper, even though he's hurting he's working so hard to learn and please, he's going to be someone's heart horse for sure. 🐎♥️
The same thing happened to my neighbor's horse, Altivo (idk how to spell it lol), he hurt his hind left leg. They don't know what happened but he got better after a few days. He's a guard horse and doesn't really like ppl touching him and riding him so there wasn't much to do. But I'm glad he got better
Just watched a new video. Wy wins 15th place. Congratulations you’ve come a long way. Amazing what Elisa does with her mustangs. They both are doing wonderful.💕💕
Can’t wait to see their progression. Both of them are good looking horses. I am quite taken to Eton, although he is a bit timid. Wyatt seems to be very bold, and looks like to be less of a challenge to train of the two
Funny my horse *SY* has the same color pattern as *WY* . 😂 I though it was cute. But I just found your channel and subscribed because it really cool seeing these mustang get use to you.
I absolutely love your videos. Your training techniques are superb! I have begun to watch as many as I can and have just gone back to see this older one with Wyeth and Eton. Do you keep all your mustangs? I was hoping so.
It's really hard watching them struggling with losing their freedom. :( I know you help them and there is no better alternative...still former free mustangs caught in a pit...a sad story.
Petra MCCafferty yet they are part of American history. If we don’t maintain a wild population, then the current bloodlines will not make it. Fresh blood always makes a generation better. Dead if you do, dead if you don’t. It’s a grey area of conservation and a cowboy way of life.
If they are not adopted they could spend the rest of their life in a small pen with hundreds of other horses. It's best they be adopted. ranchers want them off their land as they take up resources needed for cattle.
Wy man is sure interesting! Kinda has the same proud intelligence as Johnny, I’d say. What I’m really interested in is Etons transformation! He’s a stunner
What lovely mustangs you picked! It is a life goal of mine to adopt and train a mustang, though I'm totally not ready for that yet! I met you after your mustang demo and you signed my hat. Can't wait to see these guys progress!
Exciting! Wy is really lovely- great color and excellent shoulder/neck! The Black horse has nice feathery fetlocks... maybe has a bit of Frisian? Wouldn’t that be amazing (yes I know, pretty doubtful)
I am so excited to watch the adventures of Wy and Elton. You will be amazing, and I will love watching the process. Elton looks like he has a little Fresian in him. (Sorry about spelling!). Wy seems to be pretty smart...we shall see. Oh, this is fun!
This is super helpful😊 But could you maybe do one with a quarter and appaloosa mix please, that's the type of horse I have and she doesn't like lead ropes that much, but she has has one on before. She runs away whenever I try to put it on her,and sometimes she'll just let me do it. Could you also do one with a young appaloosa that hasn't been trained much, cause he doesn't like lead ropes that much either so I need to know how to let him know I'm not going to hurt him with it just get him use to it and walk him around the pasture without him goofing off or getting spooked easily. Thank you(If you don't do it that's completely fine with me😊).
This is so beautiful, we are going to the Mustang Makeover in Germany next month and cannot wait #teamguy is my sons trainer. We also just rescued a foal so some of the handling tips you use on these two with calm energy is amazing 👍
I came across your channel by watching a raleighlink video and I have to say I love it so much! It's always been my dream to adopt and train a BLM mustang and I think what your doing is so incredible and I love your methods ❤ also these horses are so beautiful
Aw they are all so beautiful! I can’t wait until I can rescue my own! I am currently looking for a good lease horse but after I lease 3 or four I can get my own! I will definitely be rescuing!
Thank you for the lovely video your black horse almost looks like he has Freesian in him.just a little FYI I've been around horses all my life please be careful of the hay nets I have had horses rear up and get stuck in them
May I ask why you don't put woodchips or something in the pen to (temporarily, I guess) remove the mud? Wyath is a cutie and I'm guessing he'll be the more successful of the two, but I'm really excited to see how Eton learns and grows!

Sue Helms sooo they’re lucky to be taken from their herds?
mostly harmless they dont starve, this happens because we take them from their homes so we can have farms.
Kat Fish so you are a vegan who eat no vegetables or anything else that comes from a farm...only what you grow in your backyard?

Beautiful horses I love them both. It also feels nice see they will be with a very caring person. They are very calmed for being wild.
I kinda wish that we still used horses to transport. But they are so hard to take care of!
