    I still rock Candyass, front to back, at LEAST once a month all these years later, if not more. The whole album really still holds up well. Every track on it was banging. I know they had cool songs after, but, the albums after weren't just straight gold all the way through like Candyass was. GREAT album. I wish I could've seen the original lineup of this band

      Punk Statik Paranoia (Orgy's third album) was a lot more like Candyass compared to the sophomore record, Vapor Transmission. I feel like Orgy should've released something that sounded more like PSP in 2000; it definitely had more of that nü-metal vibe-similar with Candyass.

    I love how this is all a bunch of 27-45 year olds reminiscing about a band we all grew up loving. Bands don't get mainstream popularity anymore, I remember when "nu-metal" dominated MTV and the radio. Can't get into the new Orgy, I understand Jay is trying to remain relevent but it's not my thing. Also cool how Bobby always used electric drums even live.

    Wow, badass. It seems like they're not even playing to click tracks, just raw-dogging all the tempos. And it sounds awesome. With their genre I would've assumed they would've been supported by backing tracks or even some basic sample triggers, but no one else besides the singer appears to even have in-ear monitors, especially the drummer. Reminds me of Joy Division where the songs sound totally polished on record, but completely raw and different live. I love this way to present this sound.

    I was at this concert and this was before I ever heard a single song from them. I couldn't hear shit and it just sounded like noise. But that Candyass album was so good that I wish I knew the songs going into this show. This recording is really good.

    Mad respect for Korn, Limp Bizkit, etc. But these guys really set themselves apart from the Nu Metal scene of 98- 02'. And consequently never really connected with an audience outside thier dedicated fan base. You can tell the kids at this show were into it, but patiently waiting for the more rap metal bands on this tour. Cant win em all i guess, but they gave it thier best...

    This clearly sounds 80-90% like the CD. WTH are people talking that they sounds different and bad? Different I take that cause it's live and they improvise but I can follow and sing every song with a sense of enjoyment.

      this is a great show. people are trolls with unrealistic expectations. sometimes i just wanna hear the studio cut too. that's when i listen to the studio cut, not come on here and complain. i am a singer too and its fucking hard to sound good live.

    • @eludereluded
      @eludereluded 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah, it's normal to sound not like studio album but if you were there at the live concert your mind was gonna explode
      I'm sooo sad I couldn't watch so many great bands live, and one of them is Orgy.
      Now most of the famous bands started to come to eastern europe but I'm fuckin old and don't enjoy concerts anymore like in my teens-early 20s.

      Me too 😶😁😀. I liked watching their families 💁. I had the same sandles Fieldys ex had. That was purely coincidental. I remember watching it 4 the 1st time, looking at my sandles, like that womans got the same sh! I remember thinking they were kinda odd, wearing makeup..& I know there was a small fraction of Icecube. Ramsteins singer w/ his fake __, pissing on everyone. All like, alrighty then. He's pretty odd. But I lost that video several yrs ago - tho 😂
