I know it might be weird but I always considered the fact that the Silent Hill god was either A: A demon tricking the cult into believing it was their god, and that it held the key to her rebirth but in truth it was also the key to freeing itself. B: The demon integrated itself into the cults ideology in order to gain power of some form, feeding from their misdeeds and using Alessa while granting her more power in order to take revenge. C: The god and the Demon are one in the same.
I feel like all are possible and they’re not things I think canon but rather thoughts I just have. Your videos help me understand more tho if h even when I’ve been a deep diver into the games lore…
On another note: I personally believe after watching this that perhaps Flaurus has been deceiving the cult, while sprinkling truths in. It would have the possible power to help summon a divine being, but at what cost? Clearly a demon that’s been trapped would possibly want out, though I do believe it never truly is defeated, it actually just goes back within its confines. I think more than anything it probably enjoys using the cult and Silent Hill itself. A mix of truth and lies, manifesting in horrific ways and tormenting those inside… Seems like something a demon would find entertaining.
I truly believe the God of the Order is no more. She’s dead. While it’s claimed she will come back to them, I never thought it would make sense for her to do so, as her original purpose was to grant humanity the ability to die, and that purpose was fulfilled. Why would they want to go back to suffering eternally? The original paradise was the world they live in now.

I never knew much about Flauros, only it´s name and the way it looks like. This was interesting to hear what you know about what it is, because I still used to think it was just a random object which has weird powers.
I'm curious, is it possible to see a Symbolism video on Room 302 itself? I feel it's role as kind of a pseudo liminal space could be delved into quite well.

It takes a lot to physically manifest properly in 3d. Alessa is fight it, so the manifestationn of its power is even harder.

So it does seem likely Silent Hill is an initiation ritual into alchemy. I wonder just how tied to the occult the devs are.
It's all interconnected, the works are all there, your so-called "3rd eye" needs to be opened but given most people are "spiritually blind", it goes over the gp's head..
@@gobbleswells2883 You realize the third-eye, enlightenment and such is steeped in most cultures and government and royal traditions, right? It's nothing unique, it's just well hidden, but this game take the mystery school approach. It all traces back to ancient Babylon and how into every pagan culture worshipping the observable aspects of nature from the earth to the heavens. Combine that with human virtues and vices, and you can list off every religion besides Judeo-Christian.
Catholicism is probably the most prominent pagan religion as it combine most symbols and deities and switched their names to that of Mary and the saints. I'll also add that it's well known that those involved in the occult and things involving the occult were said to have a spirit attached to them.
Roger Morneau talked about these things, so it more than makes me weary about what the series stands for.
