To prevent flats, cut a thin sheet metal the width of the tire and glue it to the inner side (between tube and tire). Do not let it overlap AND MAKE SURE the glue dries thoroughly (being pressed flat and firm against the inner tire) before adding the tube AND there is no way the tube can get pinched or cut by the metal strip (a light caulking could fix that). Also do not let the metal strip to come into contact with the tires inner side walls (they will shred the tire); so if the tire is 2" wide use a 1 1/2" wide sheet metal strip. Now you have one less worry. Enjoy your ride.
Over the past 10yrs on my motorcycle (1985 Yamaha Xj700 Maxim) I've spent around $2,000+ just on - insurance $100yr registration $45yr, MC batteries $50each,, higher maintenance costs/more expensive parts, less fuel mpgs, etc.... 🆚 If I had spent $2,000 to build a reinforced, 125cc 55mph 100mpgs motorized bicycle. It would have paid for itself with the $2000 saved & I could have sold the motorcycle 🏍 for another $2,000 ...
@michaelbrinks8089 very true statement there.the main reason I've never gotten a motorcycle is all of the extras that come along with them like license, insurance, and special operators license. Combined with all of the people I've saw being killed on the roads riding them I just don't see them as a practical means of transportation for me.Ride safe brother
@@glenssmallenginecreations 👍..A well built, safe, 55-65mph 100+ mpgs, gas/electric hybrid, "bicycle" would be way more practical transportation than a motorcycle....The only advantage the motorcycle would have is. The ability to go 85+ on the interstate & get you there a little faster....I think if a person got the hybrid build right....They could make decent money building & selling them..Once people realized how much gas money they could save riding one. Also being fun to ride.
Question can my mini bike have lights break lights turn signal etc and be okay to ride on bike lanes or the sidewalk ? New to the whole mini bike community so I don’t know the dos and don’t or should I just leave it to a bmx or mountain bike build ?
I put on lights, turn signals etc, just for the style. You can just add regular bicycle blinking lights to the front and rear. That'll be good enough 👍🏾😁
no you didn't just blow a red light! 😆😆😆 liked and subscribed! safe travels!
Thanks for the like and for subscribing! More "Blow through red lights" to come lol 👍🏾😁
