The 28 tooth is a great sprocket but for flat wide open runs, stop and go traffic it's sucks to much pedalling in the city for my taste. But put it on when I run from Mississauga to Niagara Falls and take highway access roads and Ooooooooo baby it goes like stink!
I'm going to be doing a 397 MI this fall one way. About 800 miles round trip and 28 tooth is perfect for a long run. I live in Illinois I'm going from Rockford Illinois down to Metropolis Illinois. Kentucky state line I'm going to run a 28 tooth on a 75cc. Ms 440.
@@lifesadventureskeepingitre1180 I run 38 on my upgraded bike with a top speed of around 35 to 45 on a downhill and a 44 standard on my daily getting me a range from 28 to 38 on downhill, hills make life hard granted they're both 50s to conform to my local laws and I'm sure a minarelli, ld 80cc Or phantom 85 could push that up about 10 mph depending on your modifications a 36 will get you to 50-60 downhill on most of those options a 28 you could probably exceed 70 on the right motor but it's all about aero once you hit those speeds so a front cafe racer style head peice is a good place to start fighting the wind and full wheel mud guards to increase a small amount of down force and to keep the air from spiralling as much off the wheels into your stream tight clothing helps as well and at those speeds please wear gear.
Today builders are catching hell trying to find a cnc [countersunk] sprocket under 40t. Amazon, you can get a 36t, but that's absolutely it, and they want $30 for it. 🤮 Supply chain issues are manifesting quickly now >>>> and it's going to get much worse, which is why I built a Switz Cruiser, Minarelli [ULTRA] >>>> shooting for 12 hp 😎 🇺🇸
