Donna, the texture looks just right. the first time I had a pecan pie I was apprehensive too. I thought it would taste too, too sweet. But I was surprised, it was sweet and buttery and just right balance and it most reminded me of a candy bar.

Donna, the texture looks just right. the first time I had a pecan pie I was apprehensive too. I thought it would taste too, too sweet.
But I was surprised, it was sweet and buttery and just right balance and it most reminded me of a candy bar.

Oh my goodness I love pecan pie it is my favorite. I makes it every Thanksgiving and Christmas. My family must have pecan pie. If any leftover the next day, I put Ice-cream on it. That takes it to another level. I would love to have some of that pie. It looks so delicious 😋. You should making a cheesecake pecan pie. It is really good.

Omg my mom made the best pecan pies and we never got the recipe and she passed away five weeks ago at the age of 93. Because of that I will be trying your recipe. This looks so good and I’ve always had such good luck with your poundcake recipes.
