Be sure to do more research and watch the videos of people who tested them with full pressure 10mm, not the weak sauce range ammo, which is 40S&W power in 10mm case. Watch for people testing full mags, not just loading 5 rounds (the magazine flaw manifests between the 5th and 6th round with heavy hardcast bullets). For those who want to make these a keeper, upgraded RSA and mag springs are a must. Otherwise it should be fine for the purpose of saying "hey, check out my 10mm" and only using it at the range with FMJ's. Also, stock plastic optic plates are trash. I say this as someone who likes this gun, but it needs a bit of investment in parts and ammo for testing. If you plan to depend on it, always test exactly as you'll carry it.
Just to clarify, that was my first range session. Since then , I have run various hollow point loads from Underwood, Lehigh Defense, and Buffalo Bore ( 100 rounds of each ) as well as ball ammo from Underwood, Federal,Speer, Armscor, and Blazer ,both brass and aluminum (50 rounds each) . So far , I haven't had any issues. When I get to 1,000 rounds, I will do another video detailing it's performance at that point. Thanks watching and commenting..
@@WaywardSonCustom thank you, all data points and experiences are important. In my testing specifically the heavy hardcast bullets of 200gr and 220gr weights with a wide meplat (wide flat nose) cause issues, so it's not the pressure as such, not power, but geometry/shape. But for others it was just higher power loads, due to weak springs. There's no doubt that the barrel/chamber and slide lock can take the pressure of all SAAMI spec loads, which includes Underwood and Buffalo Bore.
I am interested in getting one of these.
I definitely enjoy mine ! I am thinking of having it ported through. We'll see. Thanks for watching and commenting.
