Okay I bought the 22 lb and it did not fix my problem so I just purchased the 24 lb. I swear if this doesn't work I'm trading this thing in on something else! By far the most unreliable pistol I have ever owned.
The 24# seemed to do the trick for mine. Others in the comment section said they replaced the ejector with an apex one and that did the trick as well. Hopefully it works out for ya!
i just got the M&P 10MM not the compensated version... i've ran 150 rounds through her and not 1 FTF my mag hold 15 and i use Winchester target rounds for range day and i use 200GR HST from FEDERAL when carrying.. no problems this far.. will post back or start uploading vids on the issues!
This makes me feel better. I have the PC version and its been a mess. I sent it back and they said "Works with our mags". However it was functioning better when I got it back. I have the Springer mag springs and they didn't help. I ordered the Apex extractor as the next step. If I still have issues, then I am going to try the Galloway 24lb. Currently It has 2 FTF in a box of AAC FMJ. The AAC XTP will not run at all, like 5 FTF per mag.
have you tried any other ammo brands? could be AAC since I've been reading some not so good things about their ammo, but haven't tried it myself. TBH I would just order the Galloway Recoil spring. seem to fix this one and I was having 3 to 5 FTF's per mag out of the box as well. tried stiffer mag springs and same issues. Went to the 22lb spring and it got better, but still had issues. 24lb spring seems to be the ticket with no other mods needed.
I shot mine today....a few ftf....i got the 24lbs recoil spring on its way and the mag springs...going elk hunting in couple weeks...need it right for protection
Anymore updates on how the 24# spring is still working out? I just ordered apex ejector and 24# spring hope this fixes it. I got the xdm 3.8 10mm to have something in woods. That works amazing no issues but I really love the ergonomics on that sw mp hope I can get it reliable.
@@Legends94917 haven’t ran it since this video, but will soon again. I’d really like to put at least 200 rounds through it before I deem it fixed. Hope those parts fix yours! I feel you on the ergonomics with this gun they are great! That’s why I want it to work and not have to get something else lol
@@CabinPewsok I’m pretty happy with the results. After putting in the 24# recoil and the apex ejector it ran flawlessly. I ran about 300 rounds. 170gr, 180gr, 200gr even buffalo bore 220 grain not one issue even with the light target loads had no issues.

@@CabinPews have not. I am going to pick up a box of S&B and maybe Magtech at my local shop. They have Actual Hornady xtp as well
@@backwoodsmainah copy that. Let me know if the gun runs better, does the same ol crap.
@@CabinPews the extractor completely fixed it. Even with regular mag springs. Tried AAC FMJ, AAC XTP, and Federal HST and not a single hiccup.
@@backwoodsmainah that's awesome thank you for letting me know!

@@Legends94917 Damn Hell yeah! Glad everything worked out!
Thanks for the video. Too bad S&W didn’t fix these issues before releasing the gun. My Taurus TH10 runs better than that thing.
@@destroyingdadxx2274 yeah no kidding. The ergos are amazing on the s&w, but reliability is trash. Sucks
On SW's own forum, the customer service just seems like a bunch of turd burglars :/ Made me not trust them. FN here I come!
@@BillyJoeJimBob-us2mc most definitely! I read a bunch of that in disbelief. Can’t go wrong with FN!
