Removal as an archetype is just strong in one piece. Saka, RP law, and now lucci. No board no problems. Wish Bandai would print more cards in other colors than black that counter black. They don’t have to be coat manipulative but I feel like cards that have good on K.O. Effects or other cards that protect themselves or the Board would help. Don’t completely mutilate control as an archetype but find a way to balance it. If everything gets popped or bottom decked then what’s the point
I really don’t understand the doffy push back. The deck is going to be tier 1 for half a set with almost no major regionals happening in that timeframe. (Still viable in set 9 but not clear cut best deck) Obviously a vast majority of competitive players play black and the push back really feels like no deck should be better than black. I’ve seen people already calling for 4c boa ban when it’s not even close to the value of 8c Moria.
@@JakeHayes44 that's super fair. We didn't mean it as much of a push back as we did more of that it's insane for OP08.5. it won't be bdif forever it's just gonna be a menace haha.
@@Shiawase240 compared to a standard set length that is nothing and they all 3 on the same weekend so for a player that is one regional. I know personally the one close to me is a 500 person cap and I registered within an hour of opening and got wait listed. Opportunities at this time of the year are just low
The only deck that curbs zooro is literally lucci. When I play the event into chopper into chopper on YOUR turn then on my turn swing chopper get another body then play a rush zoro from hand, lol, there is no deck in the game that can stand up to his pressure. I wipe decks all day long. Carrot can give it a hard time too but I have yet to lose to anything except lucci and carrot, 20 something wins over 3 weeks and only 2 losses. 3 locals wins in a row. Zooro is an absolute menace and I appreciate you guys downplaying it, cuz then people will brush it off more and that's a W, We def take those
Haha love to hear you're crushing it! I personally haven't had any issues against the deck with B Luffy or Bonney. I just think a lot of people don't know how to play against it yet. I don't see Zoro doing bad but I don't see it crushing top players. It's a decent choice though for the meta unless there's a metric ton of Lucci haha
Been trying laboon in st14 instead of Nico robin. Can pop 9 cost off Moria with laboon / tsuru with jack on field Already. Just lost a 7k beater as a trade off
It'll be interesting to see how that deck pans out. I don't think it's bad by any means but it's definitely waiting for the starter deck upgrades for sure :)
For sure! They have a couple of those but kind of like the current stage removal cards, they are really useful cards besides brook of course. But that's also something that could be relevant!
1:16:20 to this point of blue beating blue…I think Bandai has an R&D issue where they keep making colors beat their own color. Black luffy and Black beard are great examples of this…and why does yellow with all their life triggers and shenanigans get Robin in 09 with banish?! 😂
