K-OG reacts to DAY6(데이식스) "Welcome to the Show" M/V [] A Love Letter to their FANS?

Such a celebration of a song. I believe this is for their fans who loved them and waited for them through thick and thin. I read somewhere that they are doing pretty good with the comeback. Much Deserved!

I honestly don't know where the disbandment rumors came from because they renewed their contracts with JYPE in 2022 and in their statement, they reiterated their commitment to stay together and promote together. Naturally they did a lot of solo work within their military enlistment period, but even throughout their solo work, they keep saying Day6 will be back.
Young K said WTTS's lyrics was initially all about the band and how they have come back to the stage. But JYP (the man, because he is their Exec. Producer) wanted to make it more relatable, so Young K rewrote it several times, and it ended up being about "if you want to be with me, hold my hand, welcome to my life", and he relates life to a show. He says they want it to be relatable in a romantic manner, for family, friends, and then for the members themselves and the fans.

They may not be as popular as most idols but they're definitely popular among other idols! I've seen quite a few idols cover "예뻤어" either on talk shows or just on their vlive and that just makes me happy. I've also seen other Day6 covers by other idols aside from just 예뻤어 like "Zombie." Aside that, I know Stray Kids do look up to them as their senior/형, considering they're both from JYP. Fun fact, people mistake Wonpil (Day6 Keyboard/Synth member) for Seungmin of Stray Kids and it's quite funny considering Wonpil is actually Seungmin's bias too.
Day6 will forever and always be a group that I find myself going back to once or twice a year, for a long duration. I'll never get enough of them! Thank you for this reaction!

definitely agree with your interpretation of the song. i think that they have always been moderately popular (most people probably like at least one song by them), but not the same level as idol groups. it's true that with this comeback they became a lot more successful compared to before. they've been making more appearance on variety shows than ever before as well. I'm proud of them!
