The story behind the mv is basically AI VS HUMAN and in the end of the mv they ask viewers who's the real maestro wish is obviously human
Not sure if you’ll see this but I hope you react to Seventeen’s bside on this album “Cheers to Youth” (청춘찬가) it’s by vocal unit btw and it’s one of my favorite songs of the album and love how nostalgic it feels and would love to see your reaction!!❤️
The theme is as everyone said is AI vs humans, so the whole MV is the members being subjects that ai is training on, but at the end they still come out on top cause what they do is infinitely better and surpasses what machines could do. Woozi mentioned he uses 7-8 different samples from their old songs from debut to now in the song too, which is smart to me with the whole concept of "old and new" in the lyrics

The theme is human vs AI. Or Seventeen rebelling against AI, where they give commentary about the song, showing how their switch ups and beat changes are unpredictabl, unlike what ai in music can produce because the human touch is better. I love it.

The person that Mingyu looks at is the 8, not a girl. I feel this song is about them making music together, of course, we can all understand differently. But I got that feeling, mixing styles, and becoming one. Of course carats are always present.
