- FINALLY! Here is another major thrift store vinyl haul video! 35 minutes of thrift store vinyl goodies! Maybe some blabbering too. Would it be a VC video without the blabbering? All of these records mentioned in this video cost me $1 each!
As always, thanks for watching!

Nice finds! Thrift stores haven't had good records in my area in a very long time.
Wow! Goodwill prices records upwards of 7 bucks in la now. It sucks! Good score! I’m like super jealous right now lol. Following you on ig too. Thanks for the content!
It's been 4 yrs. hope all is well with you. I came across this video and you seemed so excited , and then I saw why amd was happy for you. On the thumbnail I saw the Sabbath LP so I settled in for the long haul. I imagine the album collection is much broader and numerous now too. You should do a 4 yr. later video..yeah you should.😀 Those were some great finds for a whole 99 pennies ,im jealous!! lol Ummm.. I kinda noticed🤏 you might have someone in your life that collects vinyl and you think he's cool and maybe wanna spend some time with this person and this was a good way to do it..? I hope that worked out for you too. Well keep the music alive and Rock till you die!! ✌️🐸🤘🤟🎸🥁🎹🎤🎭🎼🎶🎵
You need to find Supertramp, Crime of the Century. One of the best albums ever imo
that Sabbath and Floyd albums are amazing $1 scores.
That Ruby Jones album is cool, I have never seen it before. I went and sampled it, it is psych blues, and added it to my wishlist, pretty valuable too. I like to pick up albums with wacky covers, usually they are what you expect but sometimes they surprise you. Larry Coryell is incredible, that S/T is a grail. This is an awesome haul, thanks for sharing!
Hi Emma!!! Great vinyl finds. My thrift stores near me never have anything either, but 5 or 6 years ago I used to find some great titles. I think I don't find anything anymore because so many people are looking and they get to Goodwill before me. Oh well, that is the way it goes.
Great haul Emma; very nice stuff! Some amazing classic Rock albums here... congrats and enjoy :-) - Eve
Killer stuff Emma. Great stuff ranging from Christopher Cross to Black Sabbath. Nice Supertramp and Humble Pie mixed in. I have been finding absolutely nothing at our Goodwill but you have inspired me to go and look. Have a great weekend!
Thanks Melinda! You never know what you'll find! I've found that going at the beginning of the week brings the best results because people tend to donate over the weekend.
I love the early Fleetwood Mac stuff, also great finds Supertramp, bad company, and skynryrd. Awesome stuff!
Wow! Some really nice stuff in that haul. English Rose is a classic Peter Green era Mac record. You'll really like that one. Supertramp, the Boss, Sabbath, dang, you did really good! You have a ton of great listening ahead. Have a great weekend Emma!
Thanks Jeff! You too.
that's when you find something good. i got some great albums when goodwill brought out 4 boxes. one was water damaged, one was classical, 2 had some great rock and jazz fusion. got 10 keepers.
Nice finds ... maybe some day I should make vids like that. Think I have about 2000 LP's and almost 8000 singles by now. Nothing special or super rare, although there are a few exceptions ... Most of them were found in the attic when my father died and they would have been thrown away. So I brought them to my hone, cleaned every single one of them, put them in a plastic sleeve, punched them in a little inventory system ... The whole thing took me almost 2 years. A lot of local stuff (Belgium) but some jewels in there too.
Hi Emma. Amazing grabs! Sweet Supertramps, Bob Seger and Ramones. Nice Pretenders and Skynyrd too. Well done. Thanks. Cheers.
Great stuff!!! The Kinks, Supertramp, The Ramones!! The Boss, Jimi, you hit the jack pot!
Nice finds Emma! You always seem to have great luck with your local thrift stores! I give up on my local thrift stores because it’s always old country, classical, or just something I’m not interested in.
My stars! Lots of great finds. Very jealous of your Ramones find, it's such a great comp! But everything you showed is oh-so-good!
Hey Emma!!! Killer haul and thanks for the shoutouts!! Awesome bruuuuuuccceeeee finds!! I love the river. Great double album that I feel are very different. One album is bar rocking songs the other is more deep cuts and personally ideas of growing up. Tunnel of love is another great one. A sleeper to some extent. A transition album for him. Divorce from Julianne Phillips and starting the relationship with current wife patti. Tougher than the rest is my favorite track. Love ginger baker too!! Yes, live at royal albert hall in 1970. Rush!!! You have a killer album there. Neil pert is in my top 5 of drummers. Awesome finds!!!
Thanks Mike & thanks for the background info! I totally agree with you about Peart ... definitely one of the best!
Awesome grabs... I wish our Goodwill had even one of your records you bought... All they ever have is crappy Christmas and 1930's music or classical... But I still go back hoping for a chamge its been months, and, still nada😑 but I'm very happy for you, jealous but happy...
Wow! Just Wow!
Amazing haul.
when you said that the next album is in everyone's collection I thought "it's gonna be christopher cross." When you showed the album i laughed so hard.
The pick will PoP UP............fab scores for a $.............Super cool to meet women inside the VC............ Greetings..............Oh Ruby Jones is killer............ Screaming Psych............
Nice Haul Emma,
Another supertramp album that you may want to check out is crimes of the century if you haven't already 🙂
Oh boy, that *is* quite a haul! When I saw Armed Forces, I said "Ooh, fantastic album, but I bet you didn't get the single!"...but you did!!! Great Steve Winwood album, classic ELP, awesome Joe Cocker, Ginger Baker's Air Force is a really rare find, nice Hendrix, Who, CSN...ya did good, kid!
Thank you!
Hello Emma; Quite a nice haul from the thrift store. You scored some amazing deals & for a $1 how good is that. Ruby Jones was a backup vocalist for Black Oak Arkansas. Went on to front her own band on Capitol records under the name of Ruby Starr & Grey Ghost. Hope that helps you. The Ramones is a comp.LP. Joe Cocker's 1st with an all star line up. Larry Coryell Jazz guitar great. Nice set of LP's. Fleetwood Mac's 2nd LP. With male line up. The Ginger Baker is live w/ Steve Winwood. Jazz rock with an Afro beat. Who are You Keith's last LP. Nice video Take care. Tina & Pat!!!!
Cool info! Thanks for watching!
you seriously give me some joan jett vibes! probably because of your hair
Nice finds Emma. Wish I could get that lucky. Nice job on the video those are some cool records. Enjoy
Wes
You got found some amazing stuff!! Love the Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd albums!
Robert Plant-Fate of Nations. I rocked that tape back in the 90s. I saw him on that tour too.Was amazing. Cry of Love, a great blues rock band, opened. You should check them out.
I agree with Chris's comment . Dexys first album was great. They were more popular in the UK than America and Canada. They did have more than 1 hit over there. Thanks for posting the video!
Brad.
New subscriber. I'm impressed with your knowledge. Hell of a score there. Thanks for sharing.
U2 rattle and hum, the boss, Hendrix, oh my Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd. That is a kick ass haul. Still great things to find at goodwill. You are batting a thousand. Thanks for sharing. Well Worth the just a little long video. Following you on instagram now. Thanks for a great channel!
Thanks for watching :)
Nice finds! :)
Wow! Now that’s a haul !
Amazing scores you picked up, Emma!
Damn girl you’re rocking these finds! I wish I could get half of these for $0.99, haha! Awesome records and I can’t wait for the next video! You’ll have a lot to listen to!
Holy junk. I’d kick and scream to have rattle and hum! Like wow. And you got a bunch of rad finds. Bruce, police, head eats, christoper cross, a bunch of rad stuff. Ygg!
That was very insane that you found a quality record collection at Goodwill. I have never seen that. Well done. Christopher across is definitely Soft Rock but I love that album. I hope you have Gerry Rafferty’s City to City, just like the Cross album a must have.
Best find to me was The Airforce album, very cool.
Amazing, I had a lot of it but I would have bought it for VCLT. Great job.
Thanks Steve! Like I always say, you never know what you're gonna get (and yes, you may score something either than Mantovani, Streisand, and Christmas). I always pickup doubles of a good record that I already have if I find it there and do save it for VCLT.
Oh wow thats awesome!!!! Good deals!!!
Ruby Jones is a bit hard rocky except for Bicycle Built for Everyone, which is a super-poppy tune. It's almost like it wandered onto the vinyl from some other band.
I like thrift store shopping. HOPE this lockdown gets lifted. Pretty soon I will get My senior citizen discount. But in my heart I'm still 25.those are great night ranger albums.I saw Dexy's Midnight runners on the young ones. And I probably would grab that album if the inner sleeve cause I love some schlock in my collection like my buddy value vinyl Steve .omg, ramonesmania for a buck?!? You know Paul Ramone was McCartney fake name he used on hotel registers during the Beatles days.
Dexys Midnight Runners might've only had one hit in America, they did have more in UK. Too Rye Ay is a great album. Ramonesmania is the only album from which Ramones got a gold record while they were active. I believe by now they have got another gold record.. England's Rose is a US version of Mr.Wonderful with altered tracklisting. You scored amazing haul. Nearly all of them in great condition too. btw.One thing i learned from this video; what i had thought was the front sleeve of Ginger Baker's Airforce turned out to be the back sleeve. I didn't know that and i have seen that album shown several times. If Christopher Cross is the sign of a record collector i think i just have to remain outside of that club, haha.
Pasi
I say "one hit wonder" cautiously. Most of us on the VC who appreciate music know that the term itself doesn't mean much. A lot of people tell me that Cheap Trick (my favorite band) is a one hit wonder and I laugh at them.
Love the Night Ranger. I saw them in concert back in February. Great band. I have a Kelly guitar pick somewhere that I got from that show. I'll try to locate it. I have picks everywhere lol. I've never heard of that Fleetwood Mac album. Tunnel of Love is my fav Bruce (full disclosure: I'm not a Bruce fan). Hell of a score on both Sabbath and Floyd! Great stuff Emma. I'm very jealous.
Thanks Brian!
If you dig Larry Coryell you have to get Fairyland. Sick live performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival. Also Chico Hamilton - The Dealer on Impulse! which was his debut on guitar.
I'm excited to give him a listen. Thanks for the recs!
Eight Vinyl Low Fairyland by the way is no jazz record despite the venue. Heavy guitar rock record. Brilliant.
Wow, Emma! You're Goodwill finds are better then what I get at my local record store. Seriously! 😀 The two Goodwill's in my area charge $2.97 to $4.97 depending on what it is. No dollar albums there for me. Supertramp Paris is a great live album. One of my favorites. Armed Forces and with the 45, Score! All of these are looking in amazing shape too. Welcome to the Christopher Cross club! If you like those Larry Coryell albums check out Chico Hamilton's The Dealer album. It was the first album to feature Larry Coryell and it's great. Larry shines on it. The River! Great album. I still need it on vinyl. CSN is another classic album. Just a terrific album. Rush Permanent Waves another classic that I still need on vinyl. ELP Trilogy... just another great album! One of my favorites in their catalog. And wow, Black Sabbath debut and Wish You Were Here. You really killed it in this haul! Congrats on passing 300 subs! You're going to be zipping past me in no time! Have a great week!
Thanks Bill! Wow $3-$5 at your Goodwill? That's crazy! Are there any decent titles that pop up there or are they actually charging $3+ for Mantovani & Streisand? Lol. Also thank you for the Chico Hamilton rec, I'll be sure to check it out! Wishing you a great week as well!
Hey, great stuff! I don't think I've ever seen a copy of Ginger Baker's Air Force in the wild before! Lots of good stuff on the that album from the late Ronnie Lane and the 13-minute version of Toad (another version of one of the first and best drum solos ever) made this a solid pickup! Thanks for sharing.
Nice Ramones! That really is a nice find for a buck.
My god Emma you have been busy! It's going to take you some time to get through that lot. As always some great finds - too many too comment fully on. Kudos on finding the Ginger Baker - managed to pick that up a short while ago after a long time looking for it. Superb album - and yes it is live - their 2nd album with a different lineup is a studio album, but never seen that one in the wild. Other 5 star classics are the Sabbath, CSN, The River, Wish You Were Here, ELP, Joe Cocker.......... ! I wish we had such stores - I managed to pick up an album today at my local charity shop, which makes 3 albums I've found there in about 5 or 6 years - no comparison. And you've outed me as a poor member of the VC as I don't own a copy of the Christopher Cross (or the Pretenders for that matter). Don't forget to pass on your address if you want the package of goodies I've got for you. Take care, and enjoy your listening. Peter.
Thanks so much Peter! I'll send you an email soon. I'll actually be leaving again in the next week for a brief weekend vacation but then will be settled down for a while.
Cool finds and great channel, just subscribed
Whatta haul , 2 record sets and all. Great Sabbath 1 find too . The British version of that is a gatefold but I seem to remember some usa versions were too, maybe. Nice that you got a Rush album. I’d recommend all the Mercury releases 74-87.
Also I have a few cheap trick picks from 77 -78 and a Tom Peterson pick too.
Also I HAD Gene, Paul and Ace picks from Alive 2 tour ,so I lamenated them and they all turned to plastic dust years later ☹️
Also did wish you were here come with the post card and 2 stickers? I lost my stickers but I still have the dark blue shrink on it.
Truly awesome haul
Wow !
If only the Goodwills in my area were well stocked instead of the mass amounts of Streisand and Humperdinck 😂 amazing finds! Ramones Mania is a great compilation to dive right into the gods of punk. Trilogy is another favorite of mine, the title track is an absolute trip.
Hey - 9/10 times I'm stuck with Streisand and Humperdinck too. Don't forget Mantovani and Christmas. But it's that 10th time when I score that makes the hunt worth it. This summer has been very good to me in terms of thrift finds!
Sweet finds, that supertramp album famous last words was their final album since the band spilt up after it
Hi Emma, The Dexys album you have is their second album, their first album,"Searching For The Young Soul Rebels", is a classic take on Northern Soul. They were not one hit wonders, they had hits with "Geno", "There There, My Dear", "Jackie Wilson Says" and "The Celtic Soul Brothers". I do however think that "Too Rye Aye" was your best pick up.
I think arc of the diver is his best solo album Spanish dancer cool song
I am putting up a Goodwill video next week - but yours makes mine look like an asthmatic plague rat, compared to your joyous bounty. Oh well. By the way. Low Budget doesn't have a bad song on it. Fantastic album.
Looking forward to watching your video! Love thrift finds.
the first dexy’s album searching for the young soul rebels is superb
Video starts at 4:15
true that
fleetwood and Ramones were the best!!
Ruby jones is ruby Starr sang Jim dandy to the rescue with black oak Arkansas in the early 70
oooooh Airforce - nice would like that one - yes live - saw them - only shortlived.Ginger Bakers creation with a touch of Steve Winwood
Awesome stuff!
Larry coryell superb guitarist 2nd album that one from 1969 that you picked up
yep it’s live airforce
I so would like to someday go to GoodWill. I say that so often I watch videos from States.
I don't listen usually Elton John but that record has really nice artwork. And have to admit that he has made some really good songs. I like WASP's version from Saturday's night good for fight.
I didn't think I would collect Bruce Sprinsteen but then I bought one... and... The Rive I'm still missing. At least title song is great. Born in the USA was first one I bought.
BLACK SABBATH for 99 cents! OK I am going next to flea market. I want to find also something. :)
mr. Finglish (Bäd English Recs)
You never know what you'll find! Good luck! :)
Eight Vinyl Low Well I found yesterday only one reggae CD. But I’m happy for it.
Ramones, Joe Cocker, Pretenders, Bruce, Sabbath, and The Who for a dollar? Really!!? Really!!!!!?...I mean REALLY!!!!??? lol Great luck on those finds. ....and yes...every collector should own that Christopher Cross so you are officially "In" lol That is a great album. Sailing, Ride Like The Wind, and Minstrel Gigolo are fantastic soft rock tracks.
Dexy's Midnite Runers its not a one hit wonder, you got a classic album there. The Fleetwood Mac is thier second US album but you're right, its half a compilation. Also Ramones Mania is a compilation but one of thier best, cant believe you got that for a buck, wow ¡ I also got the Night Ranger album at a thrift store but only have seen it once, that's their good album. Elvis Costello I got'em also very cheap, you might want to complete the collection cause are his 80's albums are awesome. I might need Rattle and Hum after watching your video, used to have that, don't know what happened to it. Overall so many well known classics, even psych obscurities wow ¡ and Black Sabbath, Rush damn ¡ well you'de be suprised but Rush albums if you look on discogs they are not that expensive.
Girl... you are amazing! Every video I have seen you show great records... share needed knowledge... make me smile... and totally piss me off from sheer jealousy of what you can find for 99 cents... you are beating me at my game! #SuperDuperJelly!
And I disagree... That Dexy MIdnight Runners inner? If that was the cover I WOULD pick it up! I like goofy corny covers......then again... I picked up that one Barry Manilow.. because the beagle on the cover was cute! I am like the Life Cereal commercial Mikey from the 70's "Steve will get it! He likes everything!" ... but seriously...Come On EIleen is a great song and so dirty!
Christopher Cross is what they call "Elevator Rock" or "Yacht Rock" or "Rock that will never offend anyone"... whatever... I LIKE IT!
Is Brown Dirt Cowboy a gay reference we missed back in the day? Does he take trips down Old Town Road... If you get what I mean? I joke about that because I remember in the early 80's when Elton came out as Bi and my dad said to me "WHAT?!?!?! I had no clue! He hid that well!" ...seriously dad? Did you EVER see him in ANY concert...Ever?!?!?!?!? HEELLLLOOOOOO! He was blindsided by Richard Simmons and Freddy Mercury also.. My dad did not have a functioning Gay-dar...
WHAT!?!?!? A Black Sabbath Self-titled! That is a grail for me... I had given up ever thinking I would ever find any Black Sabbath for $2 and under... and you proved to me it CAN be done and re-energized me and makes me want to go back out and go hunting!
LOL. I absolutely love the hunt - never stop hunting!!!! Honestly, I'd probably pick up that DMR inner too. I may have seemed like I was joking but I would have loveddd to hear what that kinda album would've sounded like :)
Girl that's I'm moving to your thrift store. My thrift store has nothing. You found some amazing stuff.
So jealous of the prices in the U.S.
Girl..u scored huge.i would love to listen to those with u..you are cute!!!!
Ginger Baker's Air Force I is live and II is not...
Price tags hurt my soul.
So Jealous.
Love your channel, are you on Facebook?
Hi
Dexys is a amazing record. Kevin Rolland’s voice is so strong, and come on Eileen is about the worst track because it’s so over played.
