      Hi mate, I havent unfortunately as tab writing is quite time consuming. Will post a few videos soon, and if I get any time I'll consider tabbing!

      Gavin Davidson the slaps! I really want to learn percussive guitar but I can't seem to be able to slap and keep the rhythm going at the same time, I'm sure I will get it eventually haha! Any tips?
      Loving your tutorials by the way!

      John Leo how do you mean mode?

    • @lagozzz5373
      @lagozzz5373 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      By mode I mean like G# Major.
      I don't know too much about music, so I'm not pretty sure, really.
      I only checked the intro and the first 2 bars on the finger-board and I think it is G# Major.
      It sounds so nicely different from normal guitar Major tunes I've listened.

      John Leo it doesn't work like that with guitar fingerstyle. Standard tuning low to high is EADGBE but you alternating the tuning to EAC#EBE. When you refer to mode perhaps you need key? Change that using a capo in guitar

      Sorry for my ambiguity.
      By mode I indicate mode of scale, for example Mixolydian, Lydian, or Ionian. #en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mode_(music)
      This song seems to me uses Ionian (Major) mode.
      What I'm trying to express here is although it uses Major mode, it sounds different from common guitar tunes based on major scale that I've listened. This difference raised unsureness, so I asked.
      It amazes and confuses me how he writes music so fresh and novel using just notes from Major scale.
      I'll watch your video to check the chords Alan uses in this tune later.
      Your videos are great materials, appreciate it.

      I have the same capo as yours, don't like it too much.
