By mode I mean like G# Major. I don't know too much about music, so I'm not pretty sure, really. I only checked the intro and the first 2 bars on the finger-board and I think it is G# Major. It sounds so nicely different from normal guitar Major tunes I've listened.
John Leo it doesn't work like that with guitar fingerstyle. Standard tuning low to high is EADGBE but you alternating the tuning to EAC#EBE. When you refer to mode perhaps you need key? Change that using a capo in guitar
