Okay, week 7 officially begins with lower body complexes. This brings back the good old memories of our very first Epic Heat session - uncomplicated complexes. I’ve loved each & every session endured so far and I’m sure I’ll love the remaining 20 even more. As a video suggestion, if caroline wants and feels comfortable, she should make another Q& A video, so we can get to know her better! we love her so much and she is such an incredible woman that i admire so much! i would love to get to know her more as a person, more than just her being our trainer/coach
I agree wholeheartedly. I've gained a lot from this but it's can sometimes be frustrating when you don't see the physical results. I'm 5 foot 2 in 115 pounds. I'm just not gaining the muscle that I thought I would even with increasing my protein.
@@heatherpoletti6692 Be patient with yourself. Real physical change is not a quick fix achieved in 14 days or a month, it takes hard work and dedication over a long period of time. That's why result videos and the like are not helpful, because it provides false promises. Everyone is different after all and we should stop comparing us to others. Like Caroline says, it is you against you 😉
@@Bloomingtide I've been working out faithfully for years and since September with Caroline. I know I could do better with my eating but it isnt horrible. It's just frustrating but you're right we are all different.
The Bulgarian lunges did not disappoint and the single leg hip thrusts about did me in.Caroline, one can dream that I will have legs like yours one day.

That bodyweight section was pure 🔥!! Oh my!!😅 Those single leg hip thrust about did me in too!! They fatigue my leg almost instantly! It's crazy! I'm getting better at them...gradually 👊🏻. And the Bulgarians are always difficult..I loved doing them with the fwd lean! Great job Heather! See ya tomorrow!
@@melinda5610I'm getting a better at the hip thrusts also but those Bulgarian lunges never get easier. My legs were on fire and I had to take frequent short breaks. The forward lean actually was a welcomed relief.

Oh my goodness. I am labeling this the toughest glute workout by Caroline. It doesn't get easier.I think that is why I love her workouts. She taught me how to make it as hard as possible. I used 40lbs and a high resistance glute band. The kneeling to squat and the Bulgarian lunges were insanely difficult .
I just finished the workout and I'm literally DRIPPING in sweat! It's probably the hardest leg workout I've ever done from you Caroline, but also one of the best ! Thank you so much Caroline !!!

You're definitely right Caroline, the bodyweight single leg exercises were the most challenging. Then the outer thighs and glutes workout with band exhausted me. But I feel so good now that I've finished it! I'm also happy to notice that the more progress I make in the training the more I feel the burn in the appropriate muscles targeted by the movement, and not in my knees anymore 😃. This was the hardest lower body workout I’ve ever done! The first time I did it, I had to keep stopping and lowering my weights. I thought there was something wrong with me cos I was finding it SO hard. I continued to do this particular workout every Monday for many weeks, and I can say that it’s much easier, I’ve increased my weights and am having far fewer breaks. This is a really solid lower body workout, one of my favourites! Thank-you!
Week after week, workout after workout, Caroline you continue to amaze me with your ability to make me work my butt off. I have done all Epic programs right along with you and am probably in the best shape of my life. Yet every new workout brings me to exhaustion. You are an amazing trainer and great human being for using your talent to keep us healthy and striving to be our better selves. I am so happy to have found you during this lockdown. I remember hating the first lower body complex (day 1) and feeling like it was so long. Today, I used weights that are 5 lbs heavier than the beginning. The workout flew by and I had so much fun. This was one of the most difficult lower body workouts I’ve ever done. Thank you so much Caroline!

Hi everyone. I'm typing this as I settle down for bed. I did the workout this morning. What a fantastic session to start week 7, though my legs have been telling me differently since lunch time!!😳. You know you're going to be in for trouble when Caroline starts on hip thrusts with a 25kg dumbbell!! 💯. And as predicted the bodyweight single leg hip thrust were definitely the leg finisher🤣🤣. I can't believe where the time went. Definitely 30 minutes of pure concentration and enjoyment 💯👍🏻🦵🔥. Great way to start the week. Looking forward to tomorrow as I drift off into the land of 😴😴

Another leg day with so many amazing Bulgarian lunges and band workout I really find Bulgarian lunges a bit hard to do🤣🤣🤣🤣but when I finish them I feel super proud and whenever I feel like giving up I see that I'm not alone caroline is also doing the same with me so yeah I can do it too.i hope we all will enjoy today's session...

Last week I didn't exercise because I didn't have any time, and I started again today. I'm finding this super hard, currently in the middle of it - I'm really frustrated right now because I feel like I can't push through, but I'm gonna try my best until the very end. :) Thanks for these amazing videos, Caroline. I have been very ill the past week and a half but made sure every day that I hit that subscribe button so I could save the workouts. I thought I would try and catch up today and was doing the leg and glute workout from day 31 and became so winded and my legs felt like jello and the heart rate went up very quickly. My lower body was always my strongest suit. I've stopped in the middle of the workout and will try to finish it later. I had lost a lot of weight and had put a few pounds back on and thought I would try this today. . I guess I didn't realize how weak I really was. I was so moved by the 1 million of us work out yesterday that I wanted to try to do something today.. Caroline you give people a true purpose and possibly the only purpose that some have in their lives. Words cannot express the sadness that I feel that I came so far and dropped so low. Anyway I'm still out here trying my best to get some strength back but I do think the most important thing is that I listen to what my body is telling me and do only what I possibly can. Good luck to you all in completing the epic heat program. I do believe it's going to take me some time before I can complete it.
The burn in my legs now is unreal! I do these workouts everyday after school and it gives me something to look forward to after I may of had a bad day🤎thank you Caroline so much!!!!
I do them everyday before school so that even if everything goes shitty, I can say at the end of the day that at least I successfully completed my workout! It also gives me confidence going into the rest of my morning. It makes me feel accomplished and productive.

If this is any indication of what is in store for us the next four weeks, I think am just gonna be super super super happy! My legs feel nothing, my glutes feel nothing, but I feel awesome! I was so relieved to be done with dumbbells, but the lunges sets that followed were just not easy. And I did the kneel to squats without dumbbells cos I feel a bit unsteady with weights. Such a killer workout. I'm certain now that Caroline is in her own way encouraging us to take up running more seriously:) Works perfectly for me! Tomorrow's "Giant" workout is gonna be quite something!
Just returned from a five day backpacking/hiking trip and at the end of it I felt great! After a similar trip 18 months ago, I felt exhausted and got sick for a few days. Pretty sure I owe a lot of my improved physical condition to Caroline huge thank you and I'm glad to be back working out with you!

The one leg thrusts were hard, she was right, BUT.... the kneel to squats and curtesy set was even more brutal. What in the devil’s horrible imagination of torture was that??!!! AND, even more disturbing .... I think I came to a realization today that I MUST be a closet masochist for finishing panting on the floor grinning ear to ear, and saving this to my favorites. Lord help me.

She always goes so heavy it’s so crazy impressive. When I think I’m doing good I look at her weights and they’re usually almost twice as me and she perform all reps perfectly on top of it. She is INSANE. ❤️ so inspiring !!!!
Torched” is such an exact word 😂 while doing bulgarian series, my leg was shaking so many times and at the point questioning myself “what am I doing???” 😂 but i didn’t give up! (Well that was hell of longggggg 3minutes!) but the most difficult one was one kneeling squat! It was so cool that I can feel so much weight and pressure only one side of my quad and glute - i had 10kg but i don’t know how she does it with much heavier one! (I was really trying not to move from my waist...to avoid injury.) Thank you Caroline to open up my Monday with so much energy 🔥

My legs died and were born again stronger, thank you for a torturous but rewarding workout, Caroline! The finisher with the band exercises was the hardest part for me, that struggle to keep my knees even the tiniest bit wider apart than shoulder width...

I agree wholeheartedly. I've gained a lot from this but it's can sometimes be frustrating when you don't see the physical results. I'm 5 foot 2 in 115 pounds. I'm just not gaining the muscle that I thought I would even with increasing my protein.

Real physical change is not a quick fix achieved in 14 days or a month, it takes hard work and dedication over a long period of time. That's why result videos and the like are not helpful, because it provides false promises. Everyone is different after all and we should stop comparing us to others. That bodyweight section was pure 🔥!! Oh my!!😅 Those single leg hip thrust about did me in too!! They fatigue my leg almost instantly! It's crazy! I'm getting better at them...gradually 👊🏻. @@melinda5610I'm getting a better at the hip thrusts also but those Bulgarian lunges never get easier. My legs were on fire and I had to take frequent short breaks. The forward lean actually was a welcomed relief.

Oh my goodness. I am labeling this the toughest glute workout by Caroline. It doesn't get easier.I think that is why I love her workouts. She taught me how to make it as hard as possible. I used 40lbs and a high resistance glute band. The kneeling to squat and the Bulgarian lunges were insanely difficult .
I just finished the workout and I'm literally DRIPPING in sweat! It's probably the hardest leg workout I've ever done from you Caroline, but also one of the best ! Thank you so much Caroline !!!

You're definitely right Caroline, the bodyweight single leg exercises were the most challenging. Then the outer thighs and glutes workout with band exhausted me. But I feel so good now that I've finished it! I'm also happy to notice that the more progress I make in the training the more I feel the burn in the appropriate muscles targeted by the movement, and not in my knees anymore 😃. This was the hardest lower body workout I’ve ever done! The first time I did it, I had to keep stopping and lowering my weights. I thought there was something wrong with me cos I was finding it SO hard.
I continued to do this particular workout every Monday for many weeks, and I can say that it’s much easier, I’ve increased my weights and am having far fewer breaks.
This is a really solid lower body workout, one of my favourites! Thank-you!
Week after week, workout after workout, Caroline you continue to amaze me with your ability to make me work my butt off. I have done all Epic programs right along with you and am probably in the best shape of my life. Yet every new workout brings me to exhaustion. You are an amazing trainer and great human being for using your talent to keep us healthy and striving to be our better selves. I am so happy to have found you during this lockdown. I remember hating the first lower body complex (day 1) and feeling like it was so long. Today, I used weights that are 5 lbs heavier than the beginning. The workout flew by and I had so much fun. This was one of the most difficult lower body workouts I’ve ever done. Thank you so much Caroline!

Hi everyone. I'm typing this as I settle down for bed. I did the workout this morning. What a fantastic session to start week 7, though my legs have been telling me differently since lunch time!!😳. You know you're going to be in for trouble when Caroline starts on hip thrusts with a 25kg dumbbell!! 💯. And as predicted the bodyweight single leg hip thrust were definitely the leg finisher🤣🤣. I can't believe where the time went. Definitely 30 minutes of pure concentration and enjoyment 💯👍🏻🦵🔥. Great way to start the week. Looking forward to tomorrow as I drift off into the land of 😴😴

Another leg day with so many amazing Bulgarian lunges and band workout I really find Bulgarian lunges a bit hard to do🤣🤣🤣🤣but when I finish them I feel super proud and whenever I feel like giving up I see that I'm not alone caroline is also doing the same with me so yeah I can do it too.i hope we all will enjoy today's session...

I have been very ill the past week and a half but made sure every day that I hit that subscribe button so I could save the workouts. I thought I would try and catch up today and was doing the leg and glute workout from day 31 and became so winded and my legs felt like jello and the heart rate went up very quickly. My lower body was always my strongest suit. I've stopped in the middle of the workout and will try to finish it later. I had lost a lot of weight and had put a few pounds back on and thought I would try this today. . I guess I didn't realize how weak I really was. I was so moved by the 1 million of us work out yesterday that I wanted to try to do something today.. Caroline you give people a true purpose and possibly the only purpose that some have in their lives. Words cannot express the sadness that I feel that I came so far and dropped so low. Anyway I'm still out here trying my best to get some strength back but I do think the most important thing is that I listen to what my body is telling me and do only what I possibly can. Good luck to you all in completing the epic heat program. I do believe it's going to take me some time before I can complete it.

I do them everyday before school so that even if everything goes shitty, I can say at the end of the day that at least I successfully completed my workout! It also gives me confidence going into the rest of my morning. It makes me feel accomplished and productive.

If this is any indication of what is in store for us the next four weeks, I think am just gonna be super super super happy! My legs feel nothing, my glutes feel nothing, but I feel awesome! I was so relieved to be done with dumbbells, but the lunges sets that followed were just not easy. And I did the kneel to squats without dumbbells cos I feel a bit unsteady with weights. Such a killer workout. I'm certain now that Caroline is in her own way encouraging us to take up running more seriously:) Works perfectly for me!

Just returned from a five day backpacking/hiking trip and at the end of it I felt great! After a similar trip 18 months ago, I felt exhausted and got sick for a few days. Pretty sure I owe a lot of my improved physical condition to Caroline huge thank you and I'm glad to be back working out with you!

This week's highlight! Lower body complexes are so fun to do yet such a burner! 🥵 they consist of all my fav moves: Bulgarian lunges, hip thrusts, RDL's, squats, etc. The variety in these complexes have made them my favourite 😍 so let's smash this workout by giving it our 200% best and make Caroline the proudest trainer ever 👊👊👊❤have a fantastic session and an amazing day ahead Caroline and everyone😇

The one leg thrusts were hard, she was right, BUT.... the kneel to squats and curtesy set was even more brutal. What in the devil’s horrible imagination of torture was that??!!! AND, even more disturbing .... I think I came to a realization today that I MUST be a closet masochist for finishing panting on the floor grinning ear to ear, and saving this to my favorites. Lord help me.

Another great one, Caroline, I don’t think I left a comment so even if I double up I’m leaving one before I jump into the next. I did farm yard work yesterday, quite physical so took the day off from EPIC so I don’t overdo (I have danger of that lol!). All your workouts have prepped me to literally “move mountains” out in the real world, whatever tasks I tackle you have given me the strength to pull them off. ALWAYS huge thank you - from Canada! 🇨🇦

She always goes so heavy it’s so crazy impressive. When I think I’m doing good I look at her weights and they’re usually almost twice as me and she perform all reps perfectly on top of it.

Torched” is such an exact word 😂 while doing bulgarian series, my leg was shaking so many times and at the point questioning myself “what am I doing???” 😂 but i didn’t give up! (Well that was hell of longggggg 3minutes!) but the most difficult one was one kneeling squat! It was so cool that I can feel so much weight and pressure only one side of my quad and glute - i had 10kg but i don’t know how she does it with much heavier one! (I was really trying not to move from my waist...to avoid injury.) Thank you Caroline to open up my Monday with so much energy 🔥
😆!! Way to keep pushing Alice!! Those 3 minutes seemed soo long!! The kneel to squat was definitely the hardest..that one always kills me!! It is so exhausting! Killer leg day to start off the week! Definitely a proud..and relieved feeling..when we finished this one😆😊

My legs died and were born again stronger, thank you for a torturous but rewarding workout, Caroline! The finisher with the band exercises was the hardest part for me, that struggle to keep my knees even the tiniest bit wider apart than shoulder width...
