Nice finish Tony. I just use the regular multipurpose circular saw blades and they always tear up the underside of ply/timber. I must check out your style blades. Cheers Rob
@Xynudu Hi Rob. You need an alternative bevel tungsten carbide tipped saw blade. With as many teeth as possible on offer for your diameter of blade. This type of blade is best used for panel work or even ripping thin timber and crosscutting timber, but not so good for deep ripping thick solid wood/timber. That's when you need in laymans terms, less but bigger teeth. Thanks for your support......Tony
just about to fit the zero clearance insert I got free with the rage 5 and a saxton hundred tooth blade (brand new) for something I'm doing with 9mm ply on my conservatory roof, blade at the moment is ripping the shit out of the underside!
I Watched you mention it on your video. Doesn't seem right to me 100 tooth blade is a lot for a saw that size. Is it that pot luck crappy Chinese plywood with no glue between the laminations? Hope you manage to overcome the problem. Cheers Tony
