    The title is missleading. Brian Cox is not narrating and it is just a supposed quote from him which seems to have little or nothing to do with the content of the video. Overall it’s a nice video, but nothing new as the title seems to suggest.

      I stopped watching when it became obvious that this was simply someones 8th grade science project and as you say, literally nothing to do with Brian Cox. If he said something, I'd rather hear it from him.

    This is what I think, there has been something and always will be something for ever, never any real beginning or real end, for if any thing came about from something (logically it has to come from something rather than nothing) there would have to have been a preceding cause or event, ergo there would be a cause of the cause ad infinitum, if there were truly nothing and I mean truly nothing, then surely there would/could be only be nothing...

      @semdezeeuw1203 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There can't be anything without an beginning. That is what we think.
      But as you said, maybe we need to begin thinking more in the range of what if something didn't begin and was always there therefore our whole way of thinking can change we we can start using that knowledge to understand some very difficult questions.

    I like to think of the universe like a quantum particle. It decides where it’s at when observed. Since we are in the middle of this big bang cycle we can observe it in motion. The existence of the universe is fleeting. Probably no longer than fractions of a second on a greater cosmic level. Living in a microcosm of space time has our perspectives altered, seeing the universe as something ancient. But I enjoy the fact that us being present in the moment has slowed things down. We get to see the universe in action, in slow motion.
    Sometimes I wonder if the universe is just a micro particle, in the middle of a reaction. And we (the universe) happen to exist in this fraction of a second

    Why is there something rather than nothing? First you gotta define nothing. Then realize there is no such thing as nothing. Nothing is a concept we made up. There was never nothingness.

    • @sarwarkhan1185
      @sarwarkhan1185 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      So define space ? The space between electrons and protons whats that space called ? Nothing doesn’t mean nothing 😮 lol

    • @sarwarkhan1185
      @sarwarkhan1185 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Also what about the concept of matter was born after the nothing ? Allah says that first there was nothing except him and then he created every thing . So how are you sure there’s no concept of nothing ? We are bound to matter but not Allah . He can do whatever he wants . We are bound to space , Matter and physical laws but not Allah . So don’t ever say that there is no nothing . You never know until you have proof otherwise .

    I really love that people, instead of saying we need to start again because we're probably wrong, just add time to the Big Bang from 13 to 26 billion years... Stay humble and start again, my friends

    So the next question, if that answers part of the big bang...
    What caused the "inflation"?
    How long has the universe been (possibly) going through this cycle?
    What happened at the start of the Universe?
    Was there something before that, or maybe multi universes that spin in the same way a galaxy does...?

  • @semdezeeuw1203
    @semdezeeuw1203 หลายเดือนก่อน

    That dense tiny point that once existed, Inflated and thus caused the big bang must have begun somehow.
    So the question should be:
    What caused that tiny dense point to exist?

    Most people still dont comprehend that tine is not measured in a straight line. "Before the big bang." Gravity compresses time, theory of relativity. All of the universe compressed to a singularity means that there was no time until inflation. Time and absolute gravity were one... There are still many questions, and maybe we will throw it all out some day, but asking "before the big bang" doesnt understand the discussion in the first place.

    Just because it's expanding doesn't mean it always has been expanding?
    Our planet is heating but it was not always heating.
    Maybe the universe has an atmosphere, maybe things in the universe affect its atmosphere.
    Maybe these effects have caused it to expand.

    Did anyone question why at the speed of light time is ZERO?
    ....
    what if at the beginning of time there was exactly an equal amount of matter and antimatter, and were slingshot in opposite directions in time in that instance.... Matter forward in time and antimatter backward in time.
    We are treating time like a normal dimension but it isn't.

    • @jimmyzarkis6276

      search VSL, variable speed of light. it also has lots of math behind and supports things much better then inflation theories. I read about everything they talked on this video about 20 years written in books in the 1980s and 1990. M Theory and string theory support the big bang and microwave background but require many dimensions. Also the math shows the strings are too massive to exist is our reality. thus 9, 10, 13 whatever number they pic dimensions required for the math to work.

    "The big bang" is just the start of a new universe through a black hole. The supervova implodes sucking in matter and space and blows out the other end creating a new universe from the nebulas mass.

However you can always, always go back to yeah there probably was a point in time where we get to no time and or matter, nothingness? No?

    Honestly I love thinking and philosophical spitballing of what if? But truly we do not know our size and perspective scope in comparison to the size of cosmic events. So a small point of an atom to us, may be a quark to the universe or is actually a universe to those within said atom. It’s relative to your point of space time, and own level of size. I say this in that when you take things back to a potential primordial existence, the normal physics don’t exist yet, and so the paradigm has changed. There could be an entire universe inside said point, that is just immolated or shifted out of plane to what is born from that point. Forming an infinite chain of existence and universes. Sort of like a proverbial Russia Doll, but the mechanism of existing inside and its expression of expanding to the outside doesn’t follow the laws of physics. What’s to say that original inner universe isn’t still in existence? Or what if it is now existing with In us? I kinda picture it as the layers of matter of our planet and the stratospheres. Layers of an onion but on an infinite and multidimensional scale. And the relationship of the macro verse to the micro verse. They are reflections of each other, bound together and interlinked, but they also are opposing sides of a spectrum. So what if to a being far outside of our universe would view us now as an infinite hot point in space, because all it can really see is what’s around it, and the context in relation to them. Which is the same flaw in our own observations. Where we looking back to the “origin” can only see that infinitely hot point, never knowing what exists beyond the plane or membrane or event horizon of said point?

    In the begging only Allah Existed and there will be a brief time period when every thing vanishes and only he exists and then he will recreate every thing . For the universe there’s a begging and and end but for Allah there’s is none meaning when nothing existed or will exist Allah will exist . The concept of time was also born at a certain point . Allah says in the Quran that he Created the Arsh then created the heavens and earth and placed his Arsh on a body of water and then sat on his arsh. There are hadiths about how the Arsh is and the Hadith is like our universe is like a ring in a desert compared to the 2nd heaven and then the second is like ring on desert to 3rd heaven and so forth until 7th heaven and then the 7th heaven is like a ring in the desert to the Arsh. So now you can imagine how big the Arsh of Allah is and how slow time is there and then think that above the Arsh is Allah so Allah is not bound to time infact he created time and there will be a time when he destroys every thing including the arsh. There will be nothing for many many years and he will ask 3 times whos out there now ? No body will answer and then he will answer himself I am . So praise your Allah before you die and every thing in the universe die and is recreated and the time is upon us where we have to account for every action in front of Allah . May Allah guide us like those who he favored . Ameen

      If time stops for something else, and is moving for you, only then you will know
      Either that item is travelling at speed of light, matching the speed of time
      Or it will just disappear, meaning it's existence was till that specific time, and it's stuck exactly at that point, and you've moved on, so it doesn't exist for you anymore.
