I love that you guys are in Jalisco again! This state and especially GDL have my heart. I’m from Arizona but my mom and family are from there. I can trace my family in this region all the way back to the 1700’s! This is where I will live when I retire. Thank you so much for showcasing this great city!
Un abrazo amiga. Yo soy de Guadalajara, me encanta mi ciudad y todo Jalisco. Acá te esperamos cuando gustes, ven de vacaciones aunque sea a conocer la tierra de tu mamá. Saludos.
I live in Zapopan and i want to live in Tlaquepague too. My family history is also traced in guadalajara back to the 1800s after mexico gained independence. We were immigrants from europe
I don’t know if anyone has mentioned it but fun fact, there’s a saying in Mexico which goes “pareces jarrito de Tlaquepaque” in Tlaquepaque artisans make this clay jugs that are very delicate and break extremely easily, so when someone gets easily angry or cries for everything and anything it’s said that they are like a jarrito de Tlaquepaque cuz they “break” easily
All those places you been like Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta, Chapala, Ajijic, Tlaquepaque, etc are all in the beautiful state of Jalisco as you already know, but you should def explore the true beauty of jalisco which are located in los altos de jalisco which a region in that state that is full of charming little towns and also pueblo magicos.
Bello Bello bello. Gracias por los videos especialmente cuando el video muestra lindos lugares que yo no conosco. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Thank you for your videos especially when your videos show nice places unknown to me.
We just got back from Puerto Vallarta thanks to your tips we had a wonderful time! Best city ever. I'm from Mexico City but married to a gringo I guess our next stop will be going to Querétaro and Guanajuato and Tlaquepaqui is so cute how you say it! Thanks guys we love you! Keep them coming. 👍🏼
Great video guys!!! You guys should definitely visit Tapalpa or Mazamitla while you’re in Jalisco !! They’re “pueblos mágicos” fairly close to Guadalajara and they are beautiful ❤️
don't forget to go to the "mariachi show" inside el Parian. its problably the NUMBER ONE thing to do , its inside all those restaurants you were walking by at the end of the video. there is a small plaza with a kiosk in the middle where they do the show for all the restaurant at EL PARIAN.
Wonderful views and sidewalks, great places to shop around, drone views seems to give us also great ways to see the city. Enjoy your stay and have a great time!
Love the videos. We visited in Feb 2019. Beautiful, walkable, and clean. Too bad umbrellas are no longer up. That was a great touch of color. Thanks for recommendation.
Just visited Tlaquepaque for the first time this past July and my wife and I loved it!!! Greetings from Mckinney TX. You guys need to go to “La Chata” restaurant in Guadalajara center the food is amazing there.
Great video guys. I’m glad you guys went back to Guadalajara,I was hoping you did because last time you were there it seemed like you were just in and out.
We were there on july ,it was very crowded we couldnt take a pic on the city name :( ..... i loved the elotes with veggies they sell over there, really good!!!!!
Choose any day during fall or winter and come to Mérida (Yucatán) and I can give you a tour to the Xibalba (the mayan underground world: wonderful cenotes). Let me know :)
Hola yo soy de ocampo guanajuato deverian ir alli , right now i lived in dallas tx but i loved ocampo gto mucho mas , saludos buen canal ! Me acabo de suscribir
That place was much more traditional in the 90s yes I visited there in the 90s a looooong time ago when my hair was lighter and i was shorter and there wasnt Reggaeton and banda music was only for extremly rural people
I love the way you show to us Mexicans, places that we haven't been able to meet. I've been to Guadalajara, but not Tlaquepaque jajajaja. Anyways, thank you again for another awesome video.
Holy moly! Another 1,000 subscribers in just a day! Another idea. The furniture in the background in the restaurants at the end of your vid is equipale (split wood frame and pig skin covering)-- a Jalisco tradition. A visit to an artisan making it?
Hello, I love your videos, you have to visit tonala, Guadalajara zoo, akron stadium and best if a soccer game is playing. Go to Restaurante campestre el canelo, and karnes garibaldi, order carne en su jugo and jericalla , the main is on garibaldi Street. Street food like Tejuino and tortas ahogadas
@@kinetickennons awesome! I hope like it. If you've never had Chile en Nogada, that's a good place to try it out since they use the full version of the original recipe.
Me and y fiancé are exploring retirement options and found your videos. Puerto Vallarta and Chapala look intriguing. We just spent a month in Cost Rica. We like it, but we are still exploring. Have you two ever considered commuting with bicicleta o motocicleta? I love mountain biking and road biking and always wonder about the possibility in new locations. Thanks.
The best travel videos ever!!! Take that TTs trying to act like victims all the time rather than just talk about positive things. KKs are the best hands down!!!!
I enjoy the KK videos, too, but I totally disagree with your comment. TT show the reality for people who are thinking of spending a lot of time in a place or moving there, not an advertisement for only the good aspects of that place. Living somewhere is very different than being a tourist. Both approaches are valid. Why be so negative?
Tammy Wright I really respect your opinion, I don’t question your comment being overtly positive so please respect mine. Over and over TTs focus on aspects that seem to want to label everything in México through a US prism. I also feel they take things out of proportion. Tell you what, I love me some KKs!!! These two have high potential!!! And are already successful! Perhaps is that Texas charm!!
Hola Greg & Hillary. You are in my city GDL!!!!! And I live near Tlaquepaque btw. Too bad I didn't go there when you were there. It would've been so cool to have seen you and say hello. Enjoy the city Weritos!! Now I'll watch your video. Uh, it's raining now in GDL :) I like the smell of the air in this city when it rains. Huele a tierra mojada, as we say. :)
Expect big changes to this side of town. Soon Tlaquepaque will be accessible via metro rail (tren ligero) which is under construction as we speak! Line 3 of the tren ligero will connect the center of Zapopan with downtown Guadalajara and eventually Tlaquepaque. Development will come knocking on the door soon enough. Service is set to start in a few more months! BTW, The central square of Zapopan, which is in the northwest side of the greater Guadalajara area, is also quite charming. Guadalajara overall is quite a pretty city.
@@kinetickennons Upon further research it seems the project is a few months behind schedule as usual with such projects. Opening is now scheduled for February or March 2019 according to director of SCT (Secretary of communications and Transport)of central Jalisco, Salvador Fernandez. 😑 But it's coming eventually. We'll just have to wait a bit longer. This project will change Guadalajara dramatically as it will encourage more transit-oriented developement to sprout up along the city's three most important centers. Big things coming for the city. Check out the new pearl district proposed for Gualdalajaras west side. It will be an entirely new central business district for this growing city! Hopefully in the future you can provide us updates of these projects and travel on the new Line 3 when it opens! Cheers!
