They didn't raise the bar too high, the judges and grading scale ruined it. 50s and 40+ scores are way to lenient and free. AG was robbed because of the contests lack of structure. Didn’t even notice till o saw this comment 😭😭😭
Yoooo. I just said something about this. Geometry hands.
Perk's face transiction got me crying 1:14-1:16 🤣🤣🤣
😭😭😭😭😭😭 Lmaooo
KP laughed the whole show 😂😂
Hes a clown idk why hes on a show with Stephen A Smith when Stephen has shown signs of self hatred. He bashed his own brotha kawame browns career and he was exposed by someone for dating Molly some airhead white girl
@@sac1211 bro what dafuq are you even saying. Stop being mad about everything
@@jonbruce4930 he's drunk
It wasn't even funny lol
The we should actually hide the trophy part got me dying
This whole thing had me so weak 😂😂😂😂 but honestly I agree. That dunk contest was so bad.
I love this idea. I’ve been saying this in friend circles forever. NBA players are not dunkers but I know some dunkers that can’t shoot. Bring them to the dunk contest and let them put on a show
Let’s never talk about that dunk contest again. It never happened.
There is no dunk contest in Ba sing se
Erased from our memory and all archives
I agree
@@ernestaddo9578 😂😂
This dunk contest will be like the Terminator movies after T2, never happened.
K- PERK @ 3:16 LAUGHING WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE SHOW!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Cole Anthony for putting his working boots like 5 minutes and Jalen Green for wasting the time to make his 1st dunk should be ashamed of themselves.
I blame D. Wade for this 😂
1000%
9/10
yup!
Right
And his fruity son
I dont think ive ever thought to myself “hey steven A brought up a good point” until today… make it a national dunk contest these NBA players dont care enough and theres people out there that would give up everything to compete on a stage like that
You’re a joke
look at perkins' face changes at around 1:12, i am dead 😂😂😭😭 both him and stephen a funny af without trying hahah
Perkins got me dying 😂😂😂
Bro was crying REAL tears 😭😭😭😭
It’s a shame that we have to seek outside talent to make the Dunk contest a show . It was kinda sad looking at the greats at the table score this years contest
Is it though?? I’d rather see actual people who specializes in dunking putting on a show, AG really spoiled this contest when he was doing great stuff
@@YouSmurfed AG didn't spoil the contest, the judges and grading scale did. AG was robbed because of the contests lack of structure. The contest isn't bad because of AGs incredible feats and creativity, it's bad because of the lack of structure and lack of will from the players to put in effort like an AG, Javale McGee, Dwight Howard, Jason Richardson, Kobe, MJ, etc.
Man its only so many different dunks you can do… people just been doing the same dunks but over a car or something. I think it just needs to go away for a few years and come back when it would be appreciated again.
@@Dc225_ I still say Blake Griffin did not jump over that car lol, he jump to the rim that was above the car.
@@YouSmurfed but these professionals really specialize in dunking their basketball like the best in the world I’m pretty sure they can do their job in a dunk contest
I lost it when he said he's gonna call Cole Anthony's dad 😂
😂😭
Stephen A round of applause 👏 This was by far more entertaining than the dunk contest! 💯😆😆😆 NBA let's make this happen asap!🗣
Yes
2016's dunk contest spoiled us all! Lavine and Gordon didn't miss and threw down some of the most memorable dunks ever!
I don't think it can be topped, ever! The creativity was on another planet from both guys, proper square dance
Thats not what spoiled us - that was the cherry on top! From 2000 to 2006 there wasn't a single bad dunk contest. Bangers. They new contests really have been that bad
That is actually a good idea from Stephen A.
Because I'm tired of players who are KNOWN for dunking just straight up not doing it. Might as well put people in who desperately want it to do it. Plus we'd see dunks we'd never see
I agree with you
We need to bring back the dunk king
100
Right have like Jordan Kilganon in the dunk contest
Im all for somebody off the street winning a million.
Perk is freaking dying!!! Lmfao bruhhhh🤣🤣
Stephen A had me dying 🤣🤣🤣 and he is 💯 right on this! I also love his idea! 👍🏾🙌🏾 But man this video take on the dunk contest was perfect 🤣🤣🤣
I never though I’d say this, but Molly and especially Kendrick’s laughs are contagious! They made my day 😂
Fake
It's for the cameras.
Two dudes who replied are fake. I agree, their laughs were gold.
@@cliffnjei4947 faker than Fox Fake News
@@yodaddy9362 the laughs were exaggerated for the cameras but still probably real.
Molly and Kendrick laughing was killing me 🤣🤣🤣
Ever since Stephen A tweeted right after the dunk contest I have been waiting for this! 🤣
2000: "It's over, ladies and gentlemen!"
2022: "Is it over yet?"
1. I waited all weekend for this rant and Stephen A didn't disappoint 😂😂😂😂
2. I'm all for his idea. Street ballers will make it more interesting. These dudes will be hungrier especially having that money incentive plus being able to be on a big stage. Get some good ones and they'll upstage these NBA cats as far as dunks go.
That would be a disgrace to the NBA bring on the street ballers and youtubers but at the end of the day NBA needs to represent and show up strong not get upstaged
Perk got that high laugh when u laughing just makes u laugh more 😂😂😂
Imagine being proud to win the wackest dunk contest in history. it was honestly pathetic AF.
bro certified azz juice !!!
3:11 got me rolling but KP laughing got me deaddddd 🤣😭🤣🤣
That's a great idea Steven A just had. I'd watch that in a heartbeat.
Rare moments that I agree with Stephen A, the dunk contest this year was a disgrace
Kendrick’s laugh got be dying 😂
I wish I could've seen this live a few days ago. I was dying from laughter! 🤣
I can’t stop looking at Kendrick Perkins crooket finger
It looks like a fishing 🎣 hook 🪝 the way it’s bent and curved 👀😂🤣
You know this is too funny if Molly is putting the paper up to her face! 😂😂😂😂
“NBA Dunk Contest was a NATIONAL ATROCITY” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I was waiting on this
6:23 our same exact reaction when Perk threw that infamous no look behind the back pass to Kobe
Even Kobe was shocked 😂
