Hey Jordan! Thanks for visiting Harlem and helping promote the museum! We're doing our best to tell the Boys' story for a long long time. Here's the link for the biopic we show in the theater... th-cam.com/video/zTivBCbQdxM/w-d-xo.html
It's great to see a person as young as Jordan be so enthusiastic about Laurel & Hardy--proof that their popularity will continue with coming generations. My absolute FAVORITE comedians bring such love and laughter. Thank you for such a fantastic video--love your channel--it's unique.
This museum is fascinating! I enjoyed Laurel and Hardy films as a kid, but never knew a lot about them personally. Loved seeing all the vintage photographs and memorabilia!
I liked L & H & The 3 Stooges also. We'll never see the likes of them again. With L & H my favourite short was the Hospital Visit. To see Hardy hanging in the air with his leg in plaster because Laurel stuffed up was hilarious. I also enjoyed their movie The Flying Deuces, just one of their best. This museum is just awesome, thx for sharing. Oliver Hardy didn't look the same when he lost weight & sad to see them older, that's life. Finally, I really enjoyed the movie made about them called Stan & Ollie. Both actors playing them did an amazing job especially Steve Coogan, he nailed Stan's mannerisms 100%.
That was awesome the museum on Laurel and Hardy. They happen to one of Mary's favorite comedy teams. She has many books on the two of them. We love watching them even the silent movies. Nothing like a silent movie. They have had such great history together. It was sad when Hardy died and Laurel just did not want to go on with out him. What a wonderful friendship they had. The items in this museum were so great I am sure Mary will be watching it again and again. Thank Jordan it was so great to see all the amazing things on them
Grew up watching them, The Three Stooges & Abbott and Costello, all made plenty of laughter after school afternoons & Saturday's. Thanks for bringing back some fond memories! Thanks, Jordan!!!
Laurel and Hardy were so great. Loved them! Thanks for taking me through the museum! Lots of great stuff and I learned more about them! Keep on being you! 🦴🐾❤️
Thank you, Jordan. Never knew that there is a Laurel and Hardy museum and that it is in Haarlem , GA and that Hardy was born there. Learned new things about them. The museum is incredible. Laurel and Hardy are my most favorite comedy duos ever. So many amazing merchandise items. Smiled the whole time watching this. Still smiling. You’re are the best. It’s appropriate that the museum is in a movie theater. God bless you
I am so lucky I have Stan and Olly sitting on the side table in my dining room .Its about 2 ft tall and little over 2 ft wide [resin] wearing their Bowler hats 2 individual and moveable figures sitting on a steel bench .Every morning i say "Hello boys"
HEY, JORDAN What's up yeah, I remember when I was 7or8 my dad , brother, and me would sit on the couch on Saturday mornings And watch Laurel & Hardy or Three stooges, Little rascals That was some of my most favorite and wonderful memories of my childhood so Thank you for bringing those Great memories back To me Take care stay safe and see you on the next adventure
They were a favorite of my grandmother. We use to watch them on Sunday after lunch. Good times! If you're heading up I 95 stop at the Ava Gardner museum in Smithfield, NC. Safe travels!
Wow, I didn't know Oliver Hardy was a native of Georgia. He was such a cute baby and Stan was a sweet looking little boy, love seeing those sorts of things. I have good memories of watching Babes in Toyland with my grandma at her house during Christmas break when I was around 12☺ Such a sad ending to Ollies life for a man who made so many people laugh... Cool Stan was into correspondance, the power of pen and paper😃Thanks Jordan💝🎆
When I was young, my dad took us to visit Stan Laurel at his apartment in Santa Monica. His Phone number was listed in the yellow pages and my dad just called and ask if we could visit him and he said yes. He gave me a stamp with his and Oliver Hardy's likeness on it and we all took a picture together. He was very gracious. This was right before he passed away.
I grew up watching Laurel and Hardy as well Jordan. That team pairing was genius. Great museum and vlog. My wife and I watched Stan and Ollie, worth watching for sure. Thanks brother.
Other than my beloved Three Stooges, I absolutely loved Laurel & Hardy. To me they were the best comedic duo, period. Thank you Jordan for letting us reminisce a bit about Laurel & Hardy's life & times. 🎩🙏🏼
Hi Jordan, ahhh, bought a smile to my face even before I watched the vlog. What a great water tower. Those ornaments of 'Stan & Ollie' when they were women really made me laugh. During some of the dark years of the 20s, 30s, and 40s they bought laughter and happiness to so many people and still do today, amazing in itself. Great vlog Jordan.
Really interesting and thank you for sharing. We visited the Laurel and Hardy Museum in Ulverston where Stan was born. Even went to the house he was born in. I have photos if you would like to see them.
This was wonderful. I read a great bio on Hardy. Was surprised at his golf prowess and trophies from his country club, that he was a very graceful dancer and that women loved to dance with him, and that he was quite a bridge player. He would deliberately lose hands to people who couldn't play but very competitive with those who were equals. Loved the movie Stan and Ollie John's. Reilly nailed Hardy . I saw it twice in the theatre.
Great video Jordan, I love your museum videos. I love the Hardy water tower and the Laurel and Hardy marionettes. That is cool your grandparents got you those for you and your sister when you guys were growing up
We were staying at a campground close by and randomly found this location a few years ago. What a great little town and museum. People were very friendly.
I love stan and ollie. In my opinion they were the funniest men ever. No one comes close to them. The house where stan was born isn't that far from me. They were are and always will be the best.
Absolutely loved this vlog Jordon. You smashed it again. I love watch old Laurel & Hardy shows. This vlog accompanies your much earlier vlogs like the stairway etc. Thanx Jordon for a good watch.
Thank you Jordon. That brought back a lot of my childhood memories. As a child my family and I lived in a white two story home right by the train tracks. The whole house shook when it would go by. Lol I remember the murial when I lived there. Does the town still only have one red light? We use to say it was a poke and clean town. Poke your head out the car window and you were clean out of town. 😆 Again, thanks for all the memories.
Once again a Wonderful history lesson about the past. Thank You sooo much. That's what makes your stream very interesting to watch. Keep moving forward. Say hello to your dog.
Been there. Well worth a detour if you're in the area! The town has a celebration on Oliver's birthday. At least they did the year I was there. Missed it by a week!
When I was a child and I saw them on TV for the first I just melted by the look of their cute faces . And now that I'm older I still feel the same .💙💛🧡
I've always been a Laurel and Hardy fan and ever since I moved to Georgia, I've wanted to visit this place as I'm only 2 hours and 20 minutes away. Hopefully one day, I'll be able to get there to see for myself. Thank you for vlogging this.
I read some Our Gang/Little Rascals history a few years ago, and supposedly "Stymie" recived his trade mark derby from Stan Laurel. And yes, the movie "Stan and Ollie" was very good.
Fantastic vlog!! ;) I didn't know either, he was born in GA. I'd love to go there on our next trip to GA-FL. I ll have to check out from where we'll be, Ty!! Such talents! Love this one and the one you did awhile ago on them, and it was so awesome to hear when Stan Laurel lived in Santa Monica his number was public..I remember the vlog you did on him a while back, another fantastic one, I loved too!!! I saw Stan & Laurel, the movie it was fantastic, insightful and at the same time I felt bad for them, how hard they worked and when they got older, the studio, and people kind of forgot about them, and I actually cried as the movie ended. True talents, showed true life and all that can happen when we choose the paths some of us choose to take. Exellent movie, excellent Vlog, Jordan! Ty for sharing!! Happy Road Trekkin'.
The ukulele song "Honolulu Baby" was made famous by Oliver Hardy & I'm sure over the years most people have forgotten that or don't even know where that song came from.
We drove by this place a couple of years ago and had to stop. The man who was watching the place carved that wooden car. He invited us to his home and showed us a train he had carved. What an interesting day.
That is about 5 miles from my home. Wish I would have known you where around. Would have like to say hello. I enjoy your productions and look forward to all the great information in each of them..
Such a fun Museum. He was loved by the people as was Stan. Does Stan Laurel have a museum somewhere? Probably in England if there is one. So I'm glad he's included in this one with his longtime partner Oliver Hardy.
When I visited this museum I asked if the Larry Harmon Company still maintained the rights to the Laurel & Hardy characters. The lady there said yes, they do and the museum was operated by Oliver's family members and volunteers. It's a shame that the rights to your own likeness can be purchased by others to profit on!
I was born and raised in Rome,GA. I am seeing alot of new things. I lived in NW Ga. So the sights and things in Middle an South Ga. are great. Thanks for letting me ride along with you
Hi, We love your vlogs and we love this vlog. We live in the UK and not far from the birth home of Stan Laurel on Argyle street, Ulverston. Let us know if you ever need footage. There is also a Laurel and Hardy museum near by.
Great job reviewing the Laurel and Hardy Museum. While my wife and I live in Delaware we have friends who, live about 30'miles from the museum and we have visited it frequently. Next door to the museum is an almost secret lot that had been the location of Oliver Hardy's birthplace. There is a plaque set into a thing that looks like a horizontal gravestone giving details. If there is a way for you to contact me I would be glad to share the photos we took during our visits. Dr. Richard Sutor
Very cool how Stan was approachable to his fans. Its definitely not done today in regards to allowing fans to visit. He took Oliver's death so badly. The last picture was sad

Laurel & Hardy Are Very Funny!!!! Me And My Grandpa Loves Watching It!
This museum is fascinating! I enjoyed Laurel and Hardy films as a kid, but never knew a lot about them personally. Loved seeing all the vintage photographs and memorabilia!

I visited Stan's house in Ulverston about 40 years ago.
I read some Our Gang/Little Rascals history a few years ago, and supposedly "Stymie" recived his trade mark derby from Stan Laurel.

The ukulele song "Honolulu Baby" was made famous by Oliver Hardy & I'm sure over the years most people have forgotten that or don't even know where that song came from.
Yes, it was a song owned by Hal Roach, and Babe sang it in Sons Of The Desert, but it was also used in Our Gang shorts.
OMGOODNESS.. It is so weird & awesome that you were in my hometown!!! I wish I had known this and I would have bought you lunch.
We drove by this place a couple of years ago and had to stop. The man who was watching the place carved that wooden car. He invited us to his home and showed us a train he had carved. What an interesting day.
Enjoyed the vlog. They were great entertainers and I appreciate your remembrance of them. M. Belinda Davis in NC
Outstanding vlog Jordan! That was a cool trip there that you showed us!

Wonderful vlog. I didn't know about any of this. Thanks Jordan!!
Such a fun Museum. He was loved by the people as was Stan. Does Stan Laurel have a museum somewhere? Probably in England if there is one. So I'm glad he's included in this one with his longtime partner Oliver Hardy.
Wow I love the new beginning to your videos! This looks like a great museum if I’m over in that area I’ll definitely check it out, great vlog Jordan!

The lady there said yes, they do and the museum was operated by Oliver's family members and volunteers. It's a shame that the rights to your own likeness can be purchased by others to profit on!
The bright side to someone owning your name or likeness is that if there is money to be made, they'll make sure you are never forgotten..

Very much enjoyed the video.
Awesome! Glad there's a museum. Recommend "The museum of making music" Carlsbad, CA
Excellent vlog Jordan! Laurel and Hardy were hysterical. Did you see the film that came out 2-3 years ago that starred John C. Reilly?
