So what can one say about Elvis? Many loved him, many were jealous of him, many wanted to be him, many just wanted to be around him. Elvis brought joy to thousands either through his generosity or his songs, he was a light to this world we will never see again. Meeting Elvis in Palm Desert as a boy on my bicycle in front of Market Basket in his Cadillac Diamond plate pickup Truck was my memory of him.
I watched this not long after it was posted and I just rewatched it. Thanks again Jordan. Elvis rocks ! 2024
I grew up on Elvis. My mother is a huge fan. I remember exactly where I was when I heard the news on the radio. Coming back to my aunt's with all my cousins in the car from a day at Carowinds amusement park. We were all shocked and crying. Elvis' gospel albums are the absolute best. What a voice
Thanks so much for this Great video I Love Elvis and Enjoyed this Great video...God bless you..🙏❤👍💞
Thank you so much Jordan for this amazing video. It has been such a joy to go along for the ride. You are touching so many with your passionate experiences, both of Elvis and you personally . God bless you and your travels.
Hey Jordan. Just watched the Tupelo video here. I know the person that did the painting that is in the Tupelo hardware store. He is a huge Elvis fan and made a song after Elvis died. You should do a vlog with him sometime. Let me know if your interested!! He’s a heck of a nice guy.
There will never be another Elvis... thanks for the video Jordan!
Elvis really had a beautiful life. Despite the struggles and hardships, just amazing life. Filled with family and love. Although he died at a young age, his death at Graceland.....Probably where he would have wanted to pass. Great video!
Great video!! I am learning so much about Elvis from you. You are a great storyteller. Love to Jah.
I appreciate that
As John Lennon once said "Before Elvis there was nothing!" God bless the King of Rock ' Roll ! Your vlogs of Elvis week are brilliant Jordan! It must be mind blowing for you as you are such a Fan of his and we all love it too...Hi Paw to Jah!...
Neat to meet you at the Birthplace Thanks for the pic! Arkansas fan!
My pleasure!
This was a blast and how respectful and loving the community of Tupelo is in keeping Elvis's memory alive and well. Thank you so much for sharing this Jordan. It is appreciated. Blessings - Judith 🎭🎵
in 1957 he wasnt worried about fans seeing it, he wanted his family to own it again as his father built it.
Jordan, I definitely will go to see Elvis's birthplace in Tupelo, next year after Elvis Week if I have time. Thank you for sharing a wonderful piece of Elvis History!
I love seeing birthplaces, especially a house. It’s amazing to me how people back then were able to live in such small places with few possessions, just enough to eat, sit and sleep basically. I don’t know if it was the perspective through the camera compared to in person but I thought their bedroom was a decent size for back then. I wonder why Elvis didn’t go in it but just looked underneath it.
Thanks so much for this blog! I smiled through the whole thing!
Keep on being you!! 🦴🐾❤️
Man I need to go back there soon. Last time I went it was over 20 years ago. I don’t remember half these things. Sending love from the UK
Thanks for taking us on your Elvis journey! So missed and taken from us too soon!
We didn't make it to Tupelo when we traveled to Memphis in 2017. Thank you for this Jordan. Very humble beginnings is one of the reasons (I believe) that Elvis was so generous with those who were in need. VERY COOL!
That Elvis bus is awesome. Who wouldn't want one of those to ride around in? So much Elvis history everywhere. Thank you Jordan for finding it and sharing it with us all. Stay safe and take care.
Love to go back as I was there about 25 years ago. All of the furniture etc has changed (looking back on pictures) along with the grounds it looks like lol..
Been to Tupelo a few times and loved the place. Its well worth a visit. Coming from the UK we still can't make it to the USA until Airplanes can fly again because of covid. Maybe next year who knows. Thanks for the video really enjoyed you going around the different places at Elvis week. 👍
great video Jordan, I appreciate your research and auditory.
I saw your other Tupelo video, Jordan, and it's one of my favorites! So getting to see you do it all again with extra stuff thrown in made my day! I always like to see the goodies you buy (hardware store)! I could spend all day in Tupelo looking at all of the Elvis stuff, including that 3-D wall of Elvis holding his cape. It must be great to find things like that. Thanks for another great Elvis video. I loved it!
Thank you Jordan. It's all so beautiful! I use to drive through Tupelo and want to stop and see Elvis's birthplace and never got the chance. This vlog is really a treat for me.
Hello Jordan great video I was meant to be going to graceland on 17th March 2020 but due to the covid 19 pandemic it's been rearranged 3 times i will be going to graceland in April 2022 I've been a elvis fan since I was 8 years old my late mum was a massive fan greetings from St Helens Merseyside United Kingdom ep4eva..
Didn’t get a notification this time. My home state of Mississippi. They’ve done a great job with Elvis’ homestead and property. Nice Walk of Life. All those statues are amazing. Long time ago hardware stores would sell non hardware stuff. My grandfather had a hardware store and it seems like he sold some furniture also. I’m sure Elvis’ mom was a great cook. There’s something special about your first home church. Good to know where to stop in Tupelo for good food. Thank you, Jordan for doing all of this recording of Elvis week so we could enjoy it with you. Much appreciated. God bless y’all
I noticed youtube isn't sending out notices, so next week I'll be back to uploading 3 times a week.. they tend to not send notifications if I upload every day..
@@DazewithJordantheLion Awe Jordan we look forweard so much the the dailies. I know you need a break tho and fully support that.
Love this video...Thank you for sharing it with us all......(from rags to riches ).
Cool vlog Jordan! Thank for showing Elvis's birthplace and the statues are amazing to look at!
Thank You For A Great Video & Very Historic & Entertaining keep up the good work
This was an awesome video Jordan, thank you for taking us on the tour of where Elvis was born, you are right it was a very small place but his father is the one that built it so that was a good size place at that time. The statues are so great of Elvis. It's so great to see that the town really does honor Elvis they way that they do
Hi to be a great time with my family 👪
Another cool video, Jordan. Fascinating to see Elvis' birthplace. What an amazing life he had!
Absolutely loving your Elvis week adventures!
Jesse's grave is in Priceville cemetery in Tupelo. I know that as my parents are buried there. My father knew Vernon Presley as a kid. Vernon and my dad's eldest brother were the same age and were friends. Jesse's grave, like my great grandmother who died in 1922, they were too poor to buy a marker and now no one knows which is their plot. I'm glad we got markers for my parents and grandparents and uncle. In that same graveyard there is a whole family that died in a tornado in the 1930's.
Those Shelton's were my grandmother's sister's family. Her married name was Shelton.
Jordan met you in Memphis at Spa Guys went to Kiss show tonight and was in line to go in. They canceled show Paul has Covid. Hope you get to see your show. Take care great job on Elvis Week
been absolutely amazing watching all this Elvis week. there was a tour that I was surprised to find out that Elvis had a stillborn brother never even knew that till that tour, I was shocked by that. I was very young when I first started listening to him sing and watching movies. I was 21 yrs. of age when he passed. thanks again for this wonderful history of Elvis. take care stay safe

Great trip😻
Bought me an Elvis guitar for some child that is deserving. Worth the investment.
Hello Jordan and GF. I have not been to Elvis' Birthplace yet, thank you for taking us there. I loved the Hardware Store FAB, it looks like it did back in the day.
Hi Jordan this was a great vlog love all the things you got to see and got to see his home town where he grew up so many memories of him all arouned so glad that you got to go there for Elvis week
I like your shirt Jordan. WOOO
Elvis is definitely a Legend it is amazing how one person can make such an impact. Thank you Elvis
I realize this is an "old" video but as a person who's family member had a military funeral...I'm guessing Elvis' dad didn't think of it or want it. Just because you're in the military it doesn't mean you automatically get a military funeral, you have to alert the "powers that be" that a veteran has passed. A veteran can be buried anywhere, they just get a free burial plot in a veteran cemetery (i.e. adjacent to Otis Air Base on the Cape in MA) if they want to use it.
Hi Jordan, how thoughtful, a free Elvis Day and a free button. Boy, the Presley's had it tough in the early years. Bless her, that poor tour guide having problems with her mask, that would drive me crazy, but it did make me chuckle. Such a humble beginning, oh well, as the old saying goes 'from little acorns, mighty oaks grow'. Great vlog Jordan.
A place I often wondered about seeing. Great Job, you showed so much and covered so many details. I Love that old school Hardware store. They have done an amazing job Honoring Elvis there.
Thank you so much Jordon , really loved all the Elvis content !❤️
Thank you Jordan. I have really been enjoying Elvis Week. Today’s adventure has been so very interesting. I appreciate all the work you put into your vlogs. Take care and ❤️ to Jah. .

Awesome 👏. We ate at that restaurant too while we were there and of course had to get a pic in the Elvis Booth! Thanks for making a trip to Jesses grave 😄
Elvis didnt need to learn to sing he already knew how 😮😅❤. I wonder if Lisa Marie ever visited this place.
This was so fun to watch. I've been to alot of Elvis spots but I haven't made it here yet.
Great as always Jordan!! So glad I got to see those places, thank you!😊
Oh no papaww lol. Thanks for vlogging on Elvis like you have, so many things I did not know about him. I'm sure Elvis would be humbled by what you and others are doing to keep his legacy alive. Thank You!
As always…intense research and very informative.
There used to be an outhouse connected to the back side of the house too, as there was no indoor plumbing obviously.
That's what I heard, the Presley family had an outhouse attached to their home.
Thanks Jordan for Elvis week tours
Hi Jordan! I hope all is well with you. I think you need the standing statue of Elvis from the Becoming in your new Beautiful home. Always remember you are the BEST!!! Thank you so much for all you do!!! Sending Love to You & Jah from Houston❤ Take care and stay safe!
Thank you. That was a great tour. 😊
Your Elvis week videos are great. I love these. Thank you

Jordan great work with Elvis week I was in Memphis the day of the funeral my family were on a cross-country trip to Cali never forget the day ! I was twelve and never did I forget so many white limousines!

Wow, you did the whole Elvis tour. Very Interesting and very informative. Thank you.
Awesome Vlog Jordan! You know i love the Elvis stuff! Thanks bro and God bless!
Great vlog as always Jordan, thank you!
Glad you got to visit near where I am. I live just 25 minutes away, I have been to the birthplace house, but never been inside main museum and event center. So I am doing the same thing as I did when I was in CA for decades, I'd say "I'll get to it soon", but didn't . "Regrets... I had a few". :-)
Thanks again! Jordan another great vlog! Lee
Another great vlog as always Jordan Love watching your channel. Have a ever watched Elvis The Miniseries? It's about a 3 hour movie but a really good one for Elvis Presley fans. I hope to make to Tupelo someday myself.
Hi Jordan,
What an amazing vlog. Loved every minute of it, so interesting.
I loved it Jordan thank you xxx 💝
One place no youtubers have covered is the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport Louisiana where he performed at the Louisiana Hayride.
The Municipal is also where the saying Elvis has left the building come from and James Burton records is right across the street.
In front of the Municipal has a statue of Elvis Presley and James Burton.
Those statues are beautiful
We love you Elvis.
Always look forward to watching your videos , thank you
From all the stories I've heard about Elvis ...he may have been poor money wise when he was growing up, but he was rich in other ways. Elvis was so blessed to have parents that taught him to have manners and to have respect for others. He cared about other people's feelings. He grew up being a Christian and to me that's being rich. Some children today don't even know the meaning of having manners. God sure did bless him with a beautiful talent and he was beautiful inside and out. Even though he had money later on in his life he didn't forget where he came from. I love how he was so generous with his money. I would have been the same way if I was him. He's still giving to this day. He has brought so many people together. Elvis, we'll never forget you and we'll always love you. 🥰 😘❤
Ty Jordon! This week has been great!
Amazing! Thank you so much, excellently done! ❤Elvis..magnificent statues !!
Elvis , Robert Johnson, Hank Williams Legends of 🎶. ELVIS week
Thanks Jordan for the road trip with you and she🙂(girlfriend.🧡it👍😉
I luv Elvis. As far as outhouses, my mom grew up in Central Mississippi. She did grew up with outhouses and chamber's. It wasn't until much later that my grandparents would get indoor plumbing.
It meant chamberpots.
I think that when Elvis passed...it was such a shocking and devastating event that I don't believe they even thought about a military type funeral. He spent 2 yrs in peacetime and that was so honorable but it wasn't like he did what people like Audy Murphy did. No disrespect at all. But the loss of Elvis really was like a huge bomb to us all and I don't think the family had time or ability in their greef to plan for that. 👍🏻😎
Thank you Jordan can't even get enough of Elvis 🎸🎙🎶
Thank you for the wonderful adventure!
Great statues. Becoming was just beautiful. Thank you for sharing this trip
We went to Graceland but never Tupelo. Thank you thank you! 😎🦁
Jordan I have more than loved your vlogs on anything Elvis. I’ve just learned so much about him thanks to you. Also you probably one more thing over there in Tupelo…the hospital where your buddy Adam the Woo was born lol
I never went to his birth place. So really enjoyed watching this vlog. Thank you Jordan, another day with a smile. 😁
Interest series!! Thanks Jordan! (and Jordan's lady)
Awesome Jordan!
⚡️TCB⚡️
So many goodies in thie Vlog!! I Loved the Hardware Store!! The food looked really tasty!! Thanks for the awesome Vlog!!
My guess is that Jesse was taken to Graceland and buried there near his family, but who knows?
This is very cool.Fascinating history on Elvis
One possibility for Elvis not having a military funeral is that military funerals are optional. The family can refuse. Fun fact for you, my grandfather was in boot camp with Elvis. I wish I still had the picture of them together. I didn't believe my grandfather until he showed it to me.
Wow that picture of Elvis with the Guitar look at the blonde hair. Elvis was a true blonde
Awesome Jordan, thank you!!!
I have an answer for you about why Elvis didn’t have a military funeral. In order to be an official veteran with all military benefits you have to have served a total of 3 years (36 months) in the military. Elvis served only 2 years (24 months)
Thank you for wonderful video! It is really interesting and motivating! Cannot wait when all of us start travel again! Thank you for helping to promote tourism! wow
Elvis's cousin said without saying, that if Jesse was somewhere, it's an undisclosed secure location.
Informative and respectful. Keep up the good work
Great video! 👍🏻 Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Jordan :)
Amazing footage, as always!
Great vlog it was cool to see the place his mother bought him the his first Guitar
Thank you Jordan great video as always ( places I'll never go and all the wonderful history we see thanks to you Jordan ) x Woolton England
