Great tip on dropping the seat first - no other guide seems to feature that and it was the only way I could slide the console out!

Thank you for this video! It was super helpful on my project this weekend to swap out the shifter cables and shift tower on my 996!

I guess there will a part 2 or 3 for the adjustment or replacement of the Shift mechanism. Thanks for posting. I really enjoy these.

Thanks for that video, I need to remove the switch that turns the reversing lights on under the console!

thank you for the video. I noticed you did not remove the coin holder in the rear compartment that also has a screw underneath it. I had to go to another video to find there is 3 screws in the rear compartment. 1 holds the plastic cover, 2 is the last screw you took out in the corner, and the 3rd is under the coin holder which was tricky to get out. Maybe your center console has been removed before? thanks again for the video

Thanks. i don't think there are plastic screws.
Do you know how to remove the glove box cover off the center console?

I actually haven't removed just the cover lol I would think it would just be a couple of screws, I've never really looked that closely at it. Good question.
