Don J his music alone has pulled me through the toughest times of this life. No matter how high or low I’ve been, this one song has always torn me up since ‘91. But the list of evolved, soul-baring tunes he wrote that speak to me is too long: Bluebird Bluebird Revisited See The Changes Thoroughfare Gap Questions Carry on Helplessly Hoping Sugar babe Change Partners Church Fishes & Scorpions 4 + 20 First Things First Old Times Good Times Goes on and on. Yes he will be missed. I missed the chance to make it to Stevie Ray Vaughan’s funeral in September ‘90. I’ll make Stills’ for sure. I owe him that.
my dad had this song on CD and when i was maybe 8 years old, i’d listen to it on repeat because i loved it so much. i’m 26 now and my dad died nearly 6 months ago. this is the first time i’ve listened to this song in years and it makes me feel close to my dad. thank you for uploading it.
The music universe will be forever and ever empty when Stills passes. His technique, skills, know-how, his knowledge, will be forever lost. Most importantly his true-to-heart song writing for the purpose of its contents, not a paycheck. Music for as music was intended...enjoyment. Not greed.
His voice, both vocal & lyrical, will leave a void, but yes at least we’ll have these recordings. More than any other three artists combined, Stills has gotten me through my hardest changes. Imagine just this one image, Stephen & Jimi Hendrix jamming for five days straight on acoustic guitar in Stills’ Malibu beach house. He said one day a sheriff’s deputy knocked and asked if he could park right outside the window to field radio calls just so he could listen to them.
Logan dogan can’t agree with you there, amigo. Known too many decent ones. Known them well enough to hear their stories. And don’t forget the Oathkeepers, too.
anyone know if this album is streaming anywhere?! This is the only place I have found it. Cannot get this album for the life of me anywhere. Like it doesn't exist on any streaming platforms.
Everything Stills has done, is worth the time to listen love and Appreciate!!!!!
I can't believe I've never heard this till today and I've seen Steve solo and with CSN. LOL
Stephen was and is a true genius. His love songs and the way HE sang them will never grow old. They are still a guiding force.

No, his technique, skills, know-how, his knowledge, will be forever preserved on many albums.
But of course I'll be sad too.
