The geniuses at Jal Shakti ministry should learn from this and incorporate these activities in all sea-facing states. This educating the fishermen could be a government job in the ministry. Its critical to save marine life and habitat.

While the whole week I came across different heartbreaking and irritating news, this Sunday eco series brigs up some peace for me.. I hope the mainstream media highlights such issues so that more people get aware of and make a connect to these people and also make the government to help such initiatives.. Thanks team Scroll..

Everyday I wake up and the first thing I do is read the newspaper.And what it contains???the worst news as always(most of the cases)...the media groups nvr show such contents like Scroll.in does!!!u choose any newspaper in India the headline will be either negative , provocative, illusive or it'll be the worst- the budget(confusing and disheartening).with what mindset a kid or teen-ager will grow with if (s)he only reads newspaper and does not watch videos like these?Sometimes after reading the news I think this is what my country is!!!!!But there is always an another side of coin,an another side of the page.so beautiful executed the whole team...the videos scroll publish make us think in a totally different way,make us believe in ourselves and most importantly there isn't some but a lot a lot a lot positivities left in us to make a change, to make our country btr than yesterday!!!!!!Thankx Scroll.in.

Ghost fish nets have become a menace. It is the reason why our tamilian fishermen accidentally or intentionally reach Sri Lankan waters and get incarcerated. That's why governments are taking steps to minimise the ghost nets and well as old trawlers with more sustainable methods.
