- Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen sits down with CNBC's Jim Cramer for a one-on-one interview after the company announced record second-quarter revenue in its most recent earnings results.
Goodbye Adobe! Affinity products are half off now!
get sued Adobe 😂 trash company
Lawsuits always at the bottom for the stocks, why do you think they always come after support and buyers have been found? Lol You will be buying top in a year 100% higher.
Canva bought Affinity (like Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign), now they are going to let students and teachers use it for free. Something I thought Adobe should have done years ago but they still charge schools. School take forever to implement new things but I think with all the budget cuts in schools and free software, that this is the beginning of a major market shift. I don't think this is end of Adobe but I do think it will balance the market and take Adobe down a peg or two.
I think the winner of GenAI will be the biggest winner.
Are you a designer? Adobe suite is free for students dimwit.
what an absolutely terrible CEO
A short term increase of 10% because they increased their prices by 10%
scummy company
This is quite out of touch. Looking forward to the lawsuit.
I'm fading Adobe. First, I've tried the new AI feature and it's not very good. Secondly, everyone that likes Adobe products are already on Adobe products regardless of AI. Where's the additional gain in users???
They can get 10% growth if they increase the subscription price every year, the only thing is to reinforce the moat to make switch cost high for clients
AI is eating Adobe alive
AI has nothing to do with it, they've just been terrible to their customer base for a while, started for me with the price gouging.
@@jamessderbymore than one cause, AI training of artist, lake in privacy, skan clients files, hidden fee for cancellation (for students too) and prices, of course.
Indian working class people are nice and so helpful and so giving but why hell when it comes to Giant Tech CEO they're so greedy
Shantanu doesn’t give a damn about Adobe customers, never has and never will. His business model is built around holding creative software ransom, shame on him.
Oh, you want to be an "AI" company. How about trying to be a company that doesn't make crappy products?
#ArtistsAgainstGenerativeAI
Listen I hate adobe a lot for other very good reasons and jumped the ship a while ago, but AI is not one of them, it's a tool.
The one who's about to get dismissed, salute you!
This is a quite old interview? photoshop and updated terms issue?
@multimagical3137 Recently someone noticed some sketchy wording in the Adobe term of service that appear to grant Adobe rights to use users work to train their A.I. and look at people's files. Adobe says that isn't what it means. What it means is not clear, so people are upset and leaving Adobe. A competitor Affinity Serif responded with a 50% off sale.
@@portersblackboardI know, looking forward to read more clear and realistic terms from adobe. now all professionals can’t use Adobe for sensitive o secrets contents. this is a violation of terms between professionals and clients. btw everyone must take avantage from the bundle by affinity, just to make a backup of tools with 100% privacy for your work and your clients (the most important thing )
King of theif!!!!!
All the AI generations are not professional enough.
Yes, but for me the true test is artistry is on paper, canvas, paint. Sorry, i was first a manual artist.
So shut and do it.
They have that little mishap with the user agreement thing, but that will be addressed quickly.
And he's right; all the AI infrastructure is nice, but what will matter are the products that come out of that. Office and Adobe suites are primed to a get a boost from that.
Bad timing with the user agreement mishap. Affinity/Canva can really hurt Adobe right now. People are jumping ship. I wonder what kind of numbers they are gonna have next quarter.

100% I agree with you and the bottom line is there is a reason for it.
