Awesome new board! Looks like a lot of fun! I came across the same shaper a while back and plan to get one made by him soon.. We’re staying in Monte Clerigo now but I can’t surf yet due to a wrist injury 🤯 off to Ericeira next week. Keep the Portugal vlogs coming!

Loved the video! What is the surf etiquette in Portugal like? I used to get so overwhelmed not cutting people off so I didn't really try to surf new places but it seems like it's more chill in Portugal?
Surf netiquette should be the same everywhere. of course locals do have priorities and the follow the rules.
but especially if you don't know any locals it can get really rough and you can get threatened or insulted also.
Maybe it's a bit easier as woman due to being a gentleman in the lineup, but you should always respect the locals. Also being able to speak Portuguese helps. Especially in busier places like Ericeira, sometimes on good days/conditions it's overcrowded and no fun to surf. For no problems take some surflessons (also for getting to kow the places) or go with local friends.
Really depends on the stop and the forecast.
Some spots get really crowed when ll other spots around aren't working or too big.
You'll find all kind of people, the absolute asshole as well as cool chilled people. But I have to say that so far I have not find many a-holes in the water.
Well it seems to be pretty chill as she did cut a couple people off. Being a pretty girl always helps! 😊

How do you plan for your mattress to breath? Leave it like that, and you will most likely suffer from mould underneath.
hey there, is there a surf village in portugal that you recommend? not many tourists and few coffee shops would be a plus. unheard shark attacks, no jellyfish, would be a plus too. 1.5m - 3m waves, no rocks. thx tx!
