Thanks so much, Paul! The FN2 definitely has that special charm-it’s amazing how cars like these can bring so much joy and keep the passion alive. Glad it’s putting a smile on your face; that’s what it’s all about! Appreciate you sharing your experience. 🚗🔥

I appreciate you watching the video Steve!
The FK2 Type R is such a sick car and I’ve always been a fan of them, especially the look of the front end. I’d love to experience one someday. Must be an absolute beast to drive already turbocharged!

Me and my dad have been thinking about trading in our 2016 civic tourer for a fn2. So do you think that the fn2 is better. Also what are things you dont like about it

I’ve never experienced the 2016 Civic Tourer so I can’t make a comparison based on drivability. I will say the main thing I don’t like about the FN2 is the fuel economy. I know you don’t buy these kind of cars expecting great MPG but it seems lately I’ve been at the petrol station far too often. It gets kind of disheartening seeing the petrol gauge needle dropping so quickly despite staying out of VTEC. I do need to replace my VTEC Solenoid though as it throws up a code once a month or so.
Depending on budget, the FN2s to buy are the Championship White ones or the post 2010/11 as they come with a limited slip differential from factory, greatly improving the handling for fast road driving.

@CarGuyRyz so does it avarage like under 10l/100km? We were looking at getting a caldina gt4 but those got horrible mpg so thats why we prefer the type r. Also my dad likes how big the tourer (so it is just a civic wagon) and that it gets good mpg but i personally have just fallen in love witv the fn2. He is still the adult in this situation so He gets to day if we swich cars or not.

@ Hi Hiiliand, sorry I just got back to you now. I didn’t realise I missed your comment. I don’t know the answer to that conversion but i managed to see 26mpg last week. My VTEC solenoid needs replacing though so it should be able to get better MPG when you stay out of VTEC. Hope this helps

@@CarGuyRyz no worries. And yes it does help and we will rarely drive like a maniac

You guys should get decent MPG then. The car is a good comfortable daily when on 17 inch wheels and thicker sidewall tyres. Plus the rear seats fold down flat so it’s would be like having a van when needed at times so you’ll still have the space.
