In this episode alone Sharpe fought a duel, was almost hanged, he was shot at, beaten & forced to fight on a chain & he walked away with no more than a black eye!! Richard Sharpe is an earlier incarnation of Chuck Norris!!!
As she says, she doesn't need protection. She has an army of Borg for that. To avoid assimilation, we need to protect ourselves. Where did we park that darn Enterprise? Ever since we took the cloaking device off that ship we borrowed from the Klingons, I can never find it.
'Look after her' means 'Don't let the scheming conniving duplicitous mare out of your sight and don't fall for her BS.' Harper knew what Sharpe meant :)
Who wants an alternate Sharpe history where instead of Lucille, Sharpe's romantic attentions are split between Lady Anne Camoynes and La Marquessa Dorada, with the resolution being that they wind up in a Ménage a trois at the Marquessa's home on the Seine in Paris?
They shot the series I think in book order not chronological and combined books - and frankly made a whole episode up. I agree with you - I'd love to see all the books done in order.
Cornwell to be fair to him wrote what fans wanted. After Talavera fans wanted to know about Sharpe's early career so Cornwell wrote the India series, and so it went on. The producers only wanted 'good TV on a tight budget' so changed many things.
sean bean used all his plot armor for Sharpe series. no wonder he dies in everything else.

She is the Borg queen. This episode is the start of the Borg. We will all be assimilated.

Hahahahaha! Yes, when Sharp kissed her I thought "eweeew! Who's got mouthwash?"
Thanks for posting all the Sharpe stuff!
This is just bliss...why did I ever watch anything else on youtube?
The borg queen is cute!
I just realised by the slight lisp in which she speaks that she must be the borg queen. I see what the poster meant in part one.
he always looks back at the end thinking man I'm one lucking SOB

lark pate and honey and cold cold wine on hot hot days on the banks of the seine-sounds great
The Borg Queen gets around...
Sharpe is freaking indestructible. Got shot, cut, and beaten so many times since Rifles and in every episode he seems fine. :D

Yeah really, i asked myself that i know her ... until i read your posting :o)
it is in Britain the people who invented the language.
There is no volume
That stupid rubbing the blade on the chain would blunt it surely? It certainly wouldn't sharpen it..
I guess that rubbing is to make the oponent nervous.
I agree with both of you, it's basically swashbuckling or sabre-rattling... but I still yelled out when he did it, that poor blade! xD
@chillymywilly Not in America it's not. You can thank Webster for that...
Bshawkins67: Lazy bastard that he was
Lol fail at 3:00, Army of Wellington soo small!
OAH Limited Budget
thats not the whole army because how can you fit a thousand people in a circle of tents?
The whole series is too small, not just that aspect. That's what happens when you have a tiny budget and lack today's special effects.
It is spelt Honour.
