    I've used Anker products for years. The cables are cheaper and better made than similar Apple cables. I also use an Anker power strip on my desk and it works great. The times I've had a cable go bad Anker support has made it very easy to get a free replacement one. Unlike trying to deal with the Apple Store employees which can be a nightmare.

    I bought my first Anker product about 5 years ago and I haven't turned back. Their products have always lasted me a long time and I still have the first power bank I bought from them, and it still works well! Glad to see these new GaN products are working out well for them and I'm probably going to buy some. They definitely earn their loyal customers.

    usually i'd say things like "omg did u rly make an entire video to show off some brand's products"
    but since i've been using Anker's stuff for over 5 years now, i can confirm that they are quality products u can depend on. i have multiple of their chargers and powerbanks, and some of their 'umbrella brand' prodcuts like a Soundcore bluetooth speaker and wireless earbuds. Anker's products never let me down. i recommended Anker's products to like 15 of my friends over the years, and they all love what they got.

    To clarify things a little more, gallium nitride is a semiconductor material that's replacing silicon in these chargers, this *isn't* just a naming gimmick. "GaNPrime" is the marketing name, but the material itself is not exclusive to Anker. The material (and Anker's smart background knowledge) are what allow these things to be so efficient and compact compared to the traditional counterparts.
    While I'll also be sticking to Anker's power banks and chargers, I sincerely hope other brands transition to this better material in the near future. Right now, Anker's seriously making almost everything else out there feel rather dated. :)

    • @emilyyi3212
      @emilyyi3212 ปีที่แล้ว

      Now there are more and more gallium nitride charger suppliers, and our gallium nitride technology is very mature. It's just that end customers know too little about it, and many people just want to buy the original charger.

      regardless your device will only pull a certain amount of power. Doesn't matter if I have a 100w power brick or a 140w power brick. my MacBook 2021 air will only pull up to 67 watts of current est. also depends on what cable your using for charing as well. if it doest have the E marker chip its limited on current and data as well.

    Great video! I've loved Anker products for years now. I was sad you missed the star of this lineup though. I just picked up their 737 power bank and it's a BEAST! It's the first power bank on the market that supplies 140 watts on the go and can fast charge my MacBook 16 inch at full speed. And because it has 140 watt input in addition to output, the 24k mah battery can recharge itself from dead to full in 52 minutes. That's actually insane and so ideal if you need to recharge on a layover or something.

    • @Dasbeerboots
      @Dasbeerboots ปีที่แล้ว

      That's because it's not part of the GaNPrime lineup.
      What do you think is the best option for travel? Single 737 Power Bank or 727 Charging Station + another battery bank, possibly a Magsafe one?
      Edit: Oh crap I didn't see the 737 Power Bank needs an additional charger. I think that makes it a dealbreaker for travel. Way too much size and weight.

For example, my 16" Macbook Pro (140W), Ipad Pro 12"(around 30W), and Iphone Pro Max (around 30W). Please explain me more about this, because never understood how this works. So If my 140W Apple charger is just for Macbook Pro, how 150W charger can be for three devices or four. Its your phone that determines the rate of charge. To avoid this overheating issue I am CERTAIN that Apple recommends only the OEM charger (maybe 10 watts or so?) be used. As always, the battery COULD be dying so you might check with Apple so that they can sell you a new phone.

The device is a 2-in-1 wall charger and powerbank, but its power deliveries are different depending on whether it is plugged to the outlet or not. As a charger, plugged to the wall it outputs 65w, as a powerbank it outputs 30w.

    This is kinda crazy cuz my Anker 20W wall charger and Anker charging cable were run into by by crazy dog and the wall charger stopped working all of a sudden (luckily the cable still works) and I was gonna look for at least a 30W replacement cuz I might end up upgrading my 11pm to the 14p maybe the max. And as I was scrolling through Amazon, a notification of this video just conveniently popped up and now I’m watching it 😂
    Edit: the first product in this video is beyond insane, a wall charger that’s a battery pack 🤯

    Unfortunately I need something that's international travel friendly. This has a built in plug and no decent way to fix an adapter. Hyperjuice have a great solution for this but sadly seem to have abandoned it

    My Xiaomi mi 11 came with a 55w GaN charger back in 2020 and I have never looked back, is incredible what happens when cellphone manufacturers stop including chargers and competition is gone (US market), they haven't improved the charging speeds or power bricks in years!

      Phone charging is limited to low levels of charge (often under 10 watts) to avoid liability with regards to phone meltdowns. That may not change in the near future. No matter how powerful the charger, the phone limits the charge rate to whatever the manufacturer deems safe.

      @@geraldhenrickson7472 no, that will vary depending on your phone capabilities and if you're using the right charger for it

    Spigen is also good. But try other third parties like ugreen and minix, they're actually quite good and cheaper than even the anker stuff

    If only Anker didn't restrict their products when buying from outside US. I have been trying for weeks to buy an Anker power bank and a charging station from Amazon and with the exception of the black 615 (which was way more expensive than the white one) everything had a "This product can't be shipped to your location". And since the black 615 could be shipped but not the white one, it means that the restriction is probably set by Anker themselves.

    Only thing missing on the largest one is a wireless charger on top where the light displayed circle is.
