Baritones play a note between G and Db as long as it isn’t Bb. High brass pick a note between their (transposed) A and Eb, as long as it isn’t their C. Tubs sustain Bb the whole time. I know cause I marched legends last summer and all of our brass staff marched crown for multiple years

Philip that is because the Mellophone has been transposed for a mellophone player to read and play
