How to: Fine calibrate IRC5

In this video we explain how to perform a fine calibration on an IRC5 when you do not have the calibration pendulum tooling. This procedure is approximate and will be accurate enough for most applications.
!!!WARNING!!! Be sure to read the product manual before attempting any mechanical repairs.
Be sure to brace the robot appropriately before removing any components.

If you don't have a calib routine, or the '0' marks are damaged or for whatever reason, I have used a cheap magnetic angle finder. You can place it on the same locations as the more expensive calibration pendulum, and you'll generally get within 0.02 degrees of the base.
