This level crossing is located on the Pakenham line, in between Beaconsfield Station and Officer Station. Both EMUs and DMUs pass through this crossing at a speed of 115 km/h. As of the time of publishing, work is in progress to grade seperate this level crossing with an overpass to take traffic over the rail corridor.
The crossing equipment includes:
- Westinghouse Incandescent and LED Lights (Black and Silver, all marked)
- Westinghouse Crossbucks
- 2 General Signals Type 3 E-Bells
- Westinghouse Boom Gate Mechanisms
- 2 Westinghouse Bases and 1 Concrete Base
As of publishing, this crossing has been listed as one of the level crossings to be removed by the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), and is nearing completion on grade seperation. The grade seperation is being done by elevating the road above the rail corridor, and this is planned to be finished by April, 2024.
