Any easy setup to get some rod holders to use when bank fishing on harder ground. These do not take long to construct and are easy to make. The rebar holds firmly in the ground and is way easier to get in some tough soil, or rocky soil.

Items Needed:
1/2" rebar (12" to 24" per rod holder)
1 1/2" pvc (1 stick)
#28 hose clamps (2 per rod holder)
Handsaw (cut through pvc, may need more saw power if you are cutting your own rebar)
flathead screwdriver or a 8mm rachet

i made mine like this 30 years ago for 2 to 3 dollars each. i still use them. you don't need the clamps just wrap with duck tape.
