Diagnosed w/ Stage 4 melanoma on January 3rd 2019. Cancer had spread to kidney, liver, lung & hip bone. Given 3-5 months before beginning Opdivo (Nivolumab) monthly. Now in my 12th month my tumors have shrunk approx. 85%. Aside from a little fatigue I have had NO side effects at all. Good luck to each & everyone of us & our families who are helpless to do anything but give love. Best.

Hopefully your brother is still in full remission.
I will be discussing imunetherapy with my oncologist 1st week of May.
I have stage 3 NSCC, and have completed 16 radiation treatments, and 5 out of 6 chemo treatments. (The 5th treatment put me in the hospital for 5 days.)
I never smoked, so when I was told I had lung cancer, in late December 2018, it was like a bolt out of the blue.
I've developed sores in my mouth, mostly under my tongue, that are quite painful.
Would love to be able to correspond with someone who has similar lung issues..
I've placed a short video, on TH-cam, of me coming home from hospital, and my Maltese greeting me,, under:"Chemo reaction"".
So many people I've met during this process, that are in a much more advanced state.

I am glad that John is corresponding well with the immunotherapy. With this sort of immunotherapy is John's cancer less likely to recur and become worse where he might die?

Is it Keytruda that he is taking? Please let me know what is the immunotherapy they are giving you?

Can we take keytruda medicine if the PD-L1(22C3) by immunohistochemistry shows no staining in tumor cells and only in scanty lymphocytes with TPS score of 0% and CPS score of less than 1%.

What is this this drug???? My dad has lung cancer and they are giving him keytruda. Dad does not qualify for surgery or radiation. Please let me know what is it he is taking??!!!

If you don't mind me asking did it work for your dad my father-in-law is fixing to start taking it and me and my husband cannot find anything online where anyone has survived from taking it would appreciate any help thanks?
